    ohh yeah my prediction....

IF it's a REAL fight....Pacquiao will come out aggressive..and if DLH doesn't like the feeling of Pacquiao being all over him(ex. Pac is landing punches and those punches are hurtful ones[DLH feels the punches]) then Pollo will have no other option that to KOHTFO early(3:00-0:00)...

    I think Manny Pac..survives round 1...

    so DLH by KO 2

To Fuuuuurther Elaborate on the "Mexican Pride" Angle, ESPNNews Reports that DeLa has Invited Lupe Pintor, Pipino Cuevas & Other Former Mexican Champions to the Fight Tomorrow...

This Tells REED that DeLa Plans to Do a # on the "Mexican Assassin"...Freddie Parkinson's had Better Keep that Towel CLOSE to him, Cause this Shit Could Get Ugly QUICK....

I'm a bit concerned that this may happen.
145 is very light for DLH

He was much bigger than Forbes, too. Ah well if it ends within six I get a refund on my bets. After that Oscar better collapse from exhaustion.:fightme:

Oscar weighed in 3 pounds more which isn't much. Doesn't matter take a look at the 2 guys, he is much bigger than Pacquiao. Bigger, stronger, better chin, hits harder etc, etc. Pacquiao has better speed and stamina. Stamina will be a non factor with him not used to taking shots from a 147 pound fighter. Actually it won't be a factor because I don't think the fight gets past 5 rounds anyways.

Yeah ,his legs will be weak and he will be to slow to keep up with Pacquiao's pace.....and Manny's a better fighter too.All Pacquiao has to do is fight a small mans fight and Oscar won't keep up.

    You think DLH is stronger?

He'll be bigger, especially after putting some weight back on, but Pac looks legitimately strong at 142. His legs should be, certainly.

Maybe that weight tires him out or slows him down, it's hard to tell without seeing him on fight night, but he should be strong.

Not Sure if YOU Knew, but DeLa's been 150 or LESS for the Last 3 WEEKS Or So...It's NOT Like he DRASTICALLY Cut Weight...

& Besides that, EVERY JAB will Feel like a POWER Punch to Manny Pac...Not to Mention how the Left Hook will Feel...

Co-sign on the DLH early or Pacquiao late prediction.

There were times when Oscar stopped punching against Mayweather. He tried to jab and was effective when he did, but he just doesn't have the stamina and the legs anymore to keep it up like he did in the 90's when he was still in his 20's. If DLH is going to beat Manny, he better do it early. Once he gasses mid-to-late and Pac is still frisky, he's in trouble. Size may well be the only card he'll have left to play.

So is Benard Hopkins pathetic for fighting De La Hoya?

Manny is fighting at 135 and according to freddy roach had a tough time getting there....oscar is gonna be fighting him at 147...how is that 3 weight divisions

some of you guys are ridiculous...if hoya wins this fight this should be considered a good win....not in his top 5 or anything...but a good win

Hopkins was a lot bigger than Oscar to, so what? At least Oscar had proven himself at the weight right under 160. Oscar has fought for several years at 147+. Pacquiao isn't proven at 135,140 or 147. it's a pathetic mismatch.

    .......

Pacquiao is actually my favorite fighter and I detest Oscar. Regardless, money is money. Whether I like a guy or not never gets in the way of who I think wins.
