:::eople claiming Joe ducked Froch::::Joe wouldn't lose a second. Kessler wouldn't either. Different class of fighters.
Ducking your head till you can kiss the ground, another of my favourite rulebreaking moves, that never gets punished.
Great 12th. Pascal lost by 2 to 3 points. He really showed some toughness though which I never thought I would say about a French Canadian. Everytime he got hurt, he battled back.
Indeed they are. Frock is really what I consider a British level fighter, only he's that little bit tougher and more powerful than the rest, which elevates him to a European level fighter. Neither he nor Pascal are world class. Which is worring, being that they just fought the WBC title. Stylistically though, Frock is more like the British Maussa.
118-110, 117-111, 116-112 UD Froch Ah well I just a saw Fraudley lost a decision to Rogan, which cancels out the 200 I just lost on these cunts. :hammert:
The scores were ridiculous again. Scores of 118 or 117 are dominant performances. No one got dominated.
Respect to Pascal. Says he felt it was closer, but the right man won. Both some good guys. :bears::bears:
What a fucking fight!:bears: You'll see classier fights, yeah (both guys are B level on a good day, no doubt), but both guys went in there willing to fucking DIE to win that title. Willing to risk getting Ko'd at any moment if it increased their chances of winning by 1%. And both guys showed unbelievable chins. Apparently, despite having all defensive skill of drunk tough man contestant, Froch has never been down as an amateur or pro - and if anything Pascal showed even more toughness! I'm still buzzing after that one, was shadow boxing round my living room the whole time. :mj:
I thought 4 or 5 was about right. The first 5 rounds came out about even but Froch was clearly the better man in most the subsequent rounds. 10-2 was TOO wide, but not scandalously so - most the rounds I gave Pascal were close. Fantastic fight!
one of the fights of the year for sure, and making a mockery of the London bill that is part of the PPV over here .....I've always said Froch has a good chin....even i was surprised exactly how granite it proved to be.....he must have taken more than a dozen flush, big punches from Pascal......if he had anything less than an excellent chin, he would have been down and probably out.....Pascal to his credit also showed a lot of toughness Froch has reached his level, and it is very apparent that he is too easy to hit to impose any dominance on the division.....but he is a credible belt holder and presents a stiff challenge to anyone at 168 (MWS....it is absurd to suggest that he is british level/european at best....i'm not a big fan, and have been very critical in the past, but he is world class if not ever going to reach the heights his ego has had him believe).....I'd pick Kessler and Taylor over him, but he'd go in as a live underdog....... ....Pascal is a big natural talent....he couldn't sustain it tonight, but he is only gonna get better....i wouldn't be surprised if he picks up a title in the future
I watched so many fights last night even the cab driver from Belfast beating A-Farce. But this was clearly fight of the night a great battle from beginning to end. Congrats to Froch!
Kessler may aswell leap over the ring rope with his right, swipe a hook across Froch's iron-chin with his left, take the belt with his right, and leap back over the opposite side with his left, and head back to his dressing room all within the 3 minute round, it's.....an indescribably easy picking, and why not? as he already shut out the recent IBF titlist,.. I wouldn't blame anyone who protested the fight as a mismatch that should NEVER be made though, even if it is a unification bout.
