It was pathetic really. The Golden bitch looked like he gave up after the first round. Even Roy gave a better performance against Calz than this bullshit! This is truly embarassing for De La Homo, and I love it! In the end, Oscar's main legacy will always be his disputed decisions, his running against Tito, taking a dive against Hop, and getting his ass whupped and quiting against a MUCH smaller man! I love it!

That's correct. I even posted this in the RBR.
DLH did try, he just had no answer. For some reason (possibly diminished reflexes), he no longer has faith in his jab. (Not that having faith in his jab would have prevented Pac-man from decisively winning BTW).

DLH tasted Pac's power and it made him gunshy.

I think he gave up by the 6th round and realized he had no chance. It was embarassing indeed. To get bullied into the ropes by a guy 4 weight classes smaller than you and just get your face busted up like that is HUMILIATING. This makes me wonder if Mayweather took it easy on Oscar in their fight because I saw the openings there just like this.

This is the worse beating Oscar has ever taken. Pacquiao even one upped B-Hop and stopped Oscar a round earlier. LOL...

Pac-Man will have a special place in my heart forever because of what he did tonight to the Golden Cross Dresser.

I LOVE THIS!!!!.... I don't want this night to end!!...

When you come up against someone

who has a speed advantage and can hurt you with every punch then a lot of boxers go into a shell. Look at pavlik and jones. it doesn't matter if they're world champions or not. Some boxers just have other boxers numbers.

It is strange how he completely stopped punching. I understand pac can hit, but he was LESS than a sparring partner towards the end.

    4. ODH never sat on the ropes in comwardice

Face it, RJJ us 3, maybe 4 times the pussy that ODH is. Live with it.

And face it... Roy was a considerably better/greater fighter than DLH, and Roy actually won big fights, unlike Oscar.

History will remember Roy as being greater than De La Homo, and rightfully so.

In fact, as much as you hate Calzaghe... Joe will go down as being greater than Oscar also.

And the differance is... Roy wasnt EXPECTED to beat Joe. The fight went exactly as almost everybody thought.

Oscar on the other hand was expected to KO Manny. But choked and lost... as per usual.

And how is Roy is big a pussy as Oscar? Did Roy run for dear life in his biggest fight? Did Roy ever take a dive? Did Roy ever quit on his stool? Did Roy ever call out a WAAY smaller man in weight to fight him?

Its not even up for debate. Oscar was an inferior fighter than Roy, and was by FAR a bigger pussy.

He tried X but everything I said in the predictions thread would happen ....happened!!!

Oscar was to old and lost too much weight,he didn't belong at 147

  12. Haymaker

Dela didn't try shit, because his body failed him and age catched up to him. Just compare his performance tonight to the one against mayorga. Oscar was hesitant to throw but it was obvious that if he could actually move, throw and land he could've taken Manny out. His left hook was non-existent. He couldn't make 147 lbs anymore, and at his age it was wrong to put his body through that strain. That happens to part-time boxers anyway.

  13. Haymaker

You made a blind prediction based on Manny carrying some pop up to 147 lbs and keeping his speed, which wasn't guaranteed. You got lucky with your prediction, there's nothing scientific about it. :dunno:

Vinny Paz - his signature win.

At least ODH called out a P4P smaller man.

And whereas ODH comes to fight, whether he wins or loses, RJJ comes not to lose. If he can get away with that and still "fight," he will. But if he finds he can't, he turns turtle and fights like a bitch.

Toney is a better, and bigger win for Roy than ANYTHING on Oscar's resume. And the Hopkins win in hindsight also blows away Oscar's "wins". Then when you factor in the long reign of dominance, and his moving up to beat Ruiz, and him edging out the first Tarver fight, it becomes academic... Roy was by FAR greater than Oscar, and everyone exept for teeny bopper junkie haters like you know this. When its all said and done... what did Oscar do in his biggest fights? He CHOKED in the Tito fight... lost twice to Mosley... took a DIVE against Hopkins.. and lost to Floyd.

In the end whats REALLY his best win? His disputed decisions over Ike, and Whitaker? Its the Vargas fight, and Nando was damaged goods after Tito.

And did Oscar come to fight last night? Did Oscar come to fight against Hopkins? Listen to yourself, your a fucking joke.

it's hilarious and completely untelling and irrelevant to even mention the Mayorga fight, let alone reference it as proof of ODH's decline.

ODH had a huge speed adsvantage against Mayorga, and was clearly the better technician.

Against Manny, he was the slower fighter, not to mention against a south-paw. And not even a south-paw who fights like a normal south-paw.

I can't think of a single fighter who fights like Pacquiao. Can you? It certainly isn't Mayorga or Forbes.

I think you're under-estimating the confusion and befuddlement that Pacquiao's style creates for his opponents. Just as Morales looked like shit against Pacquiao, only to return and nearly beat David Diaz, so too was ODH befuddled. I think people are mistaking ODH's inactivity and apparent shotedness for what was actually a lack of an effective game plan for dealing with Pacquiao's speed and style.

Well, Roach told everyone who would listen 2 months ago that Oscar was too light and would have nothing.

Ad for Oscar: he is an arrogant guy who thinks he is above everyone else, too good to speak with the working media, and he deserved what he got last night.

Some of his stooges insulted two members of the media that post here by refusing to grant them an interview telling them "We have never heard of you" and then completely ignoring the other.

I've just realised, Double actually considers that Roy quit Vs Calzaghe.

Well Double, Oscar actually quit against Manny, no ifs or butts, he ACTUALLY quit on his stool, and didn't come out for round 9.

What do you think about that Double? Isn't that the cardinal sin in boxing?

The WORSE thing about it, his corner asked him 50 times, do you want to quit. They had no subtle way of communicating to each other for the corner to do it and save face for the fighter. Oscar HIMSELF had to quit

  27. Jake

yep. the only thing Oscar didn't do was say "yes that's it," but only because he didn't say anything at all. he could've at least said "one more round", shake his head, through a tantrum on the canvas like he did in bowing out against Hopkins...

not sure anything can said other than he quit. the nice way of putting it is that he had the fight completely beaten out of him.

I disagree. ODLH is a on your toes fighter and you can't do that if your drained of all energy. I've been there before going below 168 on short notice. Your just a walking shell. I well say this I made the fight more exciting even being limited; but I'm younger and more active as a fighter than a older ODLH that fights once a yr most of the time. I still haven't ruled out him throwing the fight to beef up Pacman/Hatton for GBP, but not the way he did it?! I remember feeling near dealth when I was in the ring and I'll see the replay before I say any more but ODLH could have been feeling worst than me. He didn't throw one punch in return sometimes!:dunno:
