Animal instinct takes over when you are getting pummeled. You punch back, you run, you hold. Unless you are throwing a fight. Oscar just stood there for 3-4 rounds.

I have zero respect for Oscar, who is a well-known degenerate gambler who has lost millions in Vegas casinos. Read his book for proof. He admits it and even dedicated a chapter to it. And its not the first time he's done this. Hopkins fight? hmmmmmmm Very suspicious ending.

I knew with the suspicious line movement that something was up. Oh, my goodness, what was the over under ? 9.5 rds? What round did Oscar quit in? What a strange coincedence.

I know I'll catch a lot of heat and ridicule for this post, but this is how I truly feel. And I love boxing as much as anyone here, and I'm a little heartbroken by what I saw tonight. A fix was in, and Oscar is laughing at us, all the way to the bank.

ok man. Oscar tried his best but Manny was way to good. No need to take a beating when you have no chance of winning.

That the thing- I dont think he tried his best. Where were the desperation left hooks? He knocked manny back two steps every time he landed the left hook early on, then poof- no more left hooks or power shots for the rest of the night.

I didn't watch the same fight you did. I never saw Manny hurt at all. I remember Oscar landing a few punches and Manny just tapped his gloves like that aint shit.

Nope...and I was one who kept saying the fix would be in for this fight..but DLH just got his ass kick...

There were a few occasions when DLH could've taken a knee..or just gone down from a Pac punch..but he stayed up...and at times fought back...

DLH vs. Hopkins...FIXED....who the fuck get his ass kick for 8 rounds..when he could've gone down at any time...WHY TAKE all that punishment???:notallthere:

YOU JUST mad cause u probably lose a TON OF MONEY.....

Beat me to it. I´m the same when I lose a bet.

And ain´t nobody telling me Dave Bald fatass Parris wasn´t in on the job against Macca. That fight wasn´t supposed to end in the first round, like a 2nd round stoppage would have make the fight less of a joke.

There is really no other way to explain what a pathetic effort Oscar put in from start to finish.

I am also very suspicious about the weight issue as well.

Think about it. a professional with the experienced team like Oscar's knows how to control their weight. Any moron trying to win this fight would weigh in at 147 at the weigh in, then blow up to 157-160 for the fight for maximum advantage.

Ya I lost a bunch. So I was there screaming at Oscar to throw a fuckin punch for 3 rounds as he just stood there.

He took a beating for 8 rds so he could not get stretched yet still have a good reason to quit on his stool. Maybe he has a little pride, maybe manny didnt hit hard enough, whatever the reason I see too many strange enexplained aspects in this fight.

Just to clarify, this is not to say I think it WAS fixed. I personally believed Ocar just got beat. Just saying... I wouldnt put it past him.

The Hopkins fight was w/o question a fix.

It also makes perfect sense DLH could really desperately needs a few hundred thousands added to that 40 million dollar paycheck...

I really dont think you understand the magnitude of sports betting in Las Vegas and offshore. Its not that hard to get down 5-10 million on any sporting event if you have the money.

And being in the world of gambling, I can tell you that you have no clue of how much money any given gambler owes or any debts they have. For all we know Oscar could owe some casino or person 50-60 million...

How long till Mosley pulls out of the Margarito beatdown? He already sized up Manny at the weigh-in. At least I hope that´s what he did.

We have seen in the past that this does NOT kill another big fight. Did the Baldomir loss kill the MW-Judah fight? Did the Raheem loss kill Pacman-Morales 2?

Oscar will be back, probably against Hatton for another $10 million.

It could be that microscopic aliens have burrowed into Oscar's brain causing him to be unable to pull the trigger in the ring, too. Or maybe Millie asked him to take a dive because she likes the goatee that Manny was sporting. Or maybe Oscar decided that looking bad tonight would make it easier for him to get future fights. It's all possible.

I didn't want a thread like this to start because I am honest and quite honestly I think your supposition has some merit Ron. The thing that first got me thinking was the weight issue and the fishiness around the weigh in... it was just weird shit, something not kosher happened.

Some of the other stuff you mention is stuff I thought of as well.

Ron King may be a degenerate gambler but he knows Vegas and I think he is on to something. unfortunately it is not easy to prove but I think Oscar is for the money and thats it and I would not put it past him... the more I think about it...:kick:God I hope not

The interest in that fight will be much smaller after that shit kicking. Be honest with yourself. If Oscar wanted to throw a fight he could at least look better than what he did tonight. What he did took his credibility down about 10 notches.

It is not well-known if Aliens exist or not. It is not well-known if Millie likes facial hair on her fighters. It is not known exactly why Oscar came in at such strange weights for the weigh in and fight itself.

It IS however well-known that Oscar is a known high stakes gambler who has been accused of being involved in fixed fights before. He even accused officials in two of his fights of manipulating the outcome (Trinidad, Mosley2).

He was involved in one of the shadiest decisions of all time. (Sturm)

All Im saying is I am very suspicious of what I saw tonight.

If Oscar wanted to bet the under, he could have gone for the KO also. He didn't really even try that.

I really don't think u understand betting all that well. That line didn't even move into the direction you said it should. If anything the over was bet in Vegas because people belived Manny would be more competitive than generally excepted.

And no you couldn't bet 5-6 million on an under bet if you're involved in the fight with that many help needed it would make way too much noise...
