Since its more than likely this fight will be next, lets discuss who wins. I like Manny by TKO within 6. The David Diaz fight convinced me as such. Despite Hatton looking good against Paulie, I still think Floyd took something outta him. Pacman will expose that Hatton's punch resistance isnt what it once was, and Manny will have NO trouble at all finding Ricky, be it with the right hook or the straight left.

Hatton's only hope will be to trap Manny on the ropes consistently, but I see Manny spinning off. In center ring it'll be almost a mismatch. Ricky fights a brave fight, unlike Oscar, but Manny will drop Hatton several times and force a stoppage.

I think Pacquiao would stop Hatton in Manchester, but very late.

Hatton is going to give Pacman SOME trouble, well more than Oscar did  Just by bullrushign him and roughing him up etc. Hatton is physically strong if nothing else.

But when he wants to be, Pacman is pretty fucking elusive, with quick feet and movement, and good head movement.

Hatton is simply not good enough to beat Pacman. Pacman is just too good, too fast and too sharp for Hatton, as was Floyd, and should bust Hatton up to around a 7th round TKO.

Manny by KO is inevitable. The question is.... when? I say the late rounds.

I don't really see a knockout in this fight. I tend to think it's a close fight that goes to the cards. The good thing for both fighters and the fans is neither is a great jabber.

I think the talk of any domination is an over-statement.

Hatton's pretty quick in his own right, and while he's the stronger fighter, he's also got the shorter arms and the compactness of his punches could be effective against Pacquiao, plus he'll likely be the strongest fighter he's fought in his career and Hatton can fight a full 12 rounds so he'll test Pacquiao more at the weight than DLH did.

Hatton's poor enough defensively, though, that he gets hit flush on the chin in a very judge-friendly fashion and Pacquiao's punch variety could be what wins him a close decision.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them fight twice.
