They both took one trick ponies with natural gifts and made them into complete fighters and futur hall of famers.

Which job is more impressive. Stewart and Lewis or Roach and Manny?

Lewis was a gold medal winner already. Roach/Pacquiao easy. The game plan to dismantle Oscar was one of the best strategies I've seen implemented.

    Lewis was a one-trick pony?

Yes true but Gold medal nonwithstanding Lewis's fundamentals were horrible. He fell all over himself and swung like a maniac and used to drop his hands and clown around. He was a disgrace before Stewart.

Pretty much. All he had was his big right hand like all Pac had was his big left hand. This is pretty obvious if you watched Lewis his whole career.

I have seen every one of his pro fights several times, and I know what you're talking about.... but to suggest he was a one trick pony is false.

I don't see what the big debate is about. Lennox was a big strong guy who tried to line you up for a right hand and thats about it everything else was windowdressing. Lennox would be the first one to admit it he has on many occasions.

Yes I do say so. Lewis and Strewart would tell you the same thing. It's pretty undisputable.

 Because you say so? Lewis had ALOT of skills prior to Stewart. He didn't neessarily have a boxing brain, co-ordination or pacing...but he had all the punches BEFORE Manny.

    No he didn't.

It took a combination of Emmanuel Steward and Roy Jones tapes to develop that left hook.

Whats the use of skills if you can't use them in the ring? Not only did he not have a boxing brain, co-ordination or pacing. He also had tons of BAD habits. The fact remains until Stewart was brought in he was a ONE TRICK PONY because he was unable to intergrate anything else he dormantly had in his game. The only thing that consistently worked for him was the right hand. How can you guys dispute something as obvious as this?

Based on the resposes in this thread its clear Stewart did the better job with Lewis as he succesfully made these clowns forget just how classless Lewis was before him.

    "Classless"?

I think this is why you're not getting better responses to your thread.
