Floyd could beat Ibrigamov by points win and people would still not respect him as much as they do Pacquiao. Merchant made the point last night, Floyd's style is just not appealing to anyone besides hardcore, defensive, enthusiast. Even some hardcore boxing fans find it hard to watch Floyd.

Floyd, till this day, is the only guy I know where I witnessed half the crowd leave during one of his championship fights before the fight was over (against Baldomir). He was entertaining against Hatton, but only because Hatton pushed the issue so vehemently.

Floyd should stay retired, I think his style and attitude honestly hurts boxing's popularity.
