No way dude. Oscar is completely 100% shot. He is Leonard/Camacho shot. He had no legs. He isn't going to fight again.

does anyone here even doubt for a second that curious jolex would trade away his entire life just to live a week in the shoes of that fat pinoy buboy?

the homosexual tendencies of this chap Jolex make Dr Sodomy Lok seem like Pat Robertson

    Not one bit.

He blatantly and openly pursued a fight against a MUCH SMALLER guy. He got exactly what he deserved and I enjoyed every second of seeing him battered, bruised, broken, and beaten by a guy who was 4 WEIGHT CLASSES SMALLER than he was. :atu::hammert:

Loved every bit of it and it was WELL DESERVED..

I doubt Oscar will fight again...but if he do he won't be stupid again and fight Hatton at 147..he will make the fight at 150-51..Hatton can come in at any weight he wants...and for $10-15 million Hatton will take it...

Hatton will wait a few months see what DLH do.....if the DLH fight don't happen..then he will move fast for the Pacquiao fight...

He said before the fight he preferred to fight Pacquiao because he wanted to have the chance to be p4p.

We'll see if that was just lip service.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. The guy has made more money than any boxer ever, and dictated the terms and conditions of every fight.

    Fuck Oscar.:atu:

    I feel sorry for him.
Can't put my finger on exactly why, but that's probably why the term is FEEL sorry for him. Feelings, by definition essentially have no rational basis.

Yeah I felt sorry for him, it's a sad way for any great to go out. Saying Dela took the fight only for the mega pay day is ridiculous. I remember reading last year that he made more money than Tiger Woods and people resent him for that and these are the same dudes that bitch and moan about fighters retiring with nothing in the account. He gets hated on for getting the best deal, so what, more fighters need to look after their interests the same way.

Of course he took it mainly for the payday. The payday, and the big event. It's not easy to step away from the limelight. You see it all the time with fighters.

Just because someone is really rich, it doesn't mean they're not greedy and don't want more money. Sometimes they are extremely rich because they're greedy. Oscar's fights bring a lot of money and attention to both him and his company.

IMO it is more about the lime light and "buzz" of participating in the fight, we see it all the time dudes just cannot give it up.

Ive always maintained you do not get to the top in sport if money is your motivator

    I don't really feel sorry for him at all. The savage, humiliating beating he took from Pacman STILL doesn't make up for this abomination;

Feel sorry for Oscar? Like fuck I do.

Every single fight De La Hoya takes now goes another step closer to dismantling his legacy. A legacy that he completely abandoned in search of more and more money. Now don't get me wrong, he's perfectly entitled to do that if he chooses to do so, and it's hard top blame him for taking fights which inflate his already huge bank balance, but when the shit hits the fan, it's on his head be it.

These meaningless, handpicked, catchweight exhibition fights are one of my pet hates about boxing right now, and Oscar is usually to be found right in the middle of them, building them up to be something they are not and charging the requisite fee for the priviledge. Except, once in a while, something extraordinary happens to make me realise just how much I love this sport.

This time, that something was the extraordinary Manny Pac. Watching Oscar have his heart punched out by a guy handpicked and supposedly tailor-made for him was one such moment.

Sympathy? It couldn't have happened to a more deserving transexual...

I don't know. He could always say he got caught. However QUITTING to avoid the onslaught of someone much smaller than him after making his name originally by stopping smaller opponents, is justice.
