I think that's a massively chicken sh*t move by Floyd Jr. He tucked his tail between his legs and ran away from any potential fight with several top guys in his division and wants to come back to fight Pacquaio now.
Regardless, Pacquiao is gonna f*ck him up too!

Manny REALLY Needs to Let the Whole "Mexican" Thing Go...REED Blames Roach for that Shit...Instead of ENDEARING Himself to Boxing's LARGEST Fanbase, Manny Keeps NEEDLING them...

The WINS Speak for the Themselves or @ Least they SHOULD...

It was DLH's duty to chalk one up for the Mexicans and crush Pacquiao. I guess Caligula and Latin King aren't amused at all.

Why should he let it go? The "rivalry" is great. They made an entire card based off of the Phillipine-Mexico rivalry.

Plus, there's alot of mutual respect in this rivalry. Joe Rein wrote it here about the first Pac-JMM fight where a mexican was booing the Philipino national anthem, everyone found it extremely rude, and some mexican dude walks up to his countryman and punches him right in the face to shut him up.

But it Go's w/Out Saying, Arben...EVERYBODY Knows Manny has Wins Over the Cream of the Crop of Mexican Fighters...The Whole "Mexican Assassin" Thing is DISrespectful...It was Disrespectful when Roger Mayweather did it & that's Why to this Day, Very Few Mexican Fans Like him (OR Floyd for that Matter)...

If he Beats Hatton, will he B the "Caucasian Assassin"???...If he Beats Floyd, Does that Make him the "African-American Assassin"???...

If a Fighter Barnstormed thru Top Phillipino Fighters, REED is Pretty sure Manny WOULDN'T Like Hearing that Guy Referred to as the "Phillipino Assassin"...

MOST Boxing Fans have Racial PRIDE...There's NO Need to SHIT on that when U're On Top like Manny Is...& Again, it's ALL Freddie Parkinson's Fault...This Reminds REED of when Bernard Played the "White Boy" Card...Shit's UNnecessary...

But Manny is the mexican killer?

Roy Jones is the part-time-fighter killer

Bernard Hopkins is the bum killer.

    Everyone needs a niche

He'd be the cracker whacker :nono:

But 100% agREED with your post... and Manny himself rarely if ever refers to himself as such, in fact usually speaking out against it when asked. I don't know the question asked that prompted the quoted response from him, but it sounds uncharacteristic of him to just randomly talk shit, never mind about a nation

I think they probably hate Darchinyan more....and I don't think many really considered Saturday night as part of the rivalry.

the thing is, everyone likes Manny. How could you not, he goes balls out in every fight, tries to KO his man, etc.

Manny has never coasted in his life, and he's always willing to fire bombs no matter who its against.

Everybody Respects Manny's STYLE, but that Nickname GRATES, Dude...The Sportsbar that REED Frequents is Probably 95% Mexican...The Night Manny Fought JM Marquez, it was as If Marquez was JC Chavez, Sr. or Something:lol:....During the Pre-Fight Build-Up, EVERYTIME they Showed Manny's Face, the Place VIBRATED w/BOO's...

For the DeLa-Pac Fight, it was even WORSE...& As Manny was SPANKING DeLa's Ass U Could Hear a Pin Drop...500-1,000 Peeps, 95% Mexican, Sitting In Complete SILENCE...& the Moment DeLa Quit, the Place Emptied Out...20 Minutes After the Fight was Over, there was Maybe 50 Peeps in There...

So you're saying that mexicans still watch Manny Pacquiao fight? Even if it's to see him lose?
They hate him likely because he keeps beating their fighters.

ok, so mexicans don't like it that Pacquiao is so far up their lineage he can wipe his ass with their great great grandfathers.

Rivalry is part of sports. Its not as if Pacquiao plays to the idea, he just does his job. I watched Pac/DLH at a buddy's house in LB with his parents/cousins who spoke next to no english, and they were rooting against Pacquiao of course, at the end of the day I was the one cheering and talking shit.

Juan Manuel Marquez schooled Pacquiao twice. It's embarrassing he goes around talks shit.

You serious? Before and after the first Marquez fight, you were so tightly wrapped around Pacquiao's nutsac that he couldn't concieve.

Very few PEOPLE like Roger or FLoyd Mayweather, bro. It has little to do with the "mexican assasain" thing and everything to do with a big mouth in general.

Yes, I'm sure you were. You know you considered this fight a joke to begin with like the rest of us and felt DLH was ripping people off and hence you wanted to see this blow up in his face like the rest of us did.
Stop lying Reed! You wanted Oscar to get brutally knocked the f*ck out!

Also I want to point out that PhilStar has a habit of misquoting people just so people will visit their shitty website. I highly doubt the "Zorro" comment quoted in context. Manny is about the most humble guy on the planet.

The very first clean hard punch Pacquiao landed to DLH's face led me to believe we were in for a grand night! Did you notice how hard those punches looked? It seemed unusual. DLH's head was snapping backwards. I wonder if Pacquiao was taking steroids.

sportswriters are indolent pieces of shit that should be beaten and stuffed into a casket somewhere, in general.

I'll trust years of humility from a guy before I trust a trumped up Jay Mariotti wanna-be who thinks he knows more and is more important than the players/trainers/coaches.

all the Mexicans I talk to fucking love Manny. This goes back to the first Barrera fight when he came on the scene.

Right now everyone even Mexicans watch every single Pacquiao fight.

as far as if there is any Mexicans left? well let's go back to March this year I though JMM pulled out the decision. Those two will always have great matches together.

A third one is not likely becaue Pacquiao will remain with the big fights at 140 or above. Besides It's Arum who fucking hates JMM and will do anything not to make that fight regardless.
