His claims of retirement aside, is anyone else surprised that PBF hasn't called out Pacquiao, seeing as how the Pacman showed the world what it "really" means to defeat Oscar De La Hoya?

You know i dislike Mayweather as much as you fuckers...but the guy has been retire for about a year..and I haven't heard much from him since...it's not like he is talking shit from retirement..he has been quiet...

    anyway..was he at the fight?

well it has only been a few days.......

.....we will find out very soon if Mayweather is really retired or not....if this doesn't tempt him out, i don't think anything else will (from a boxing perspective)

yup...a fight vs. Pacquiao is more winnable than a fight vs. either Margarito or Cotto...and will probably generate more money that any of the other fights...

If Floyd really wanted to call him out, now's the worst time. Do it as a seperate big event, and the very little space given to boxing in the mainstream media would be dedicated to his fight and only his fight, whereas if he was to say something now, it would share time with Pacquiao's victory(Although they're focusing more on Oscar's loss).

all you critics of mayweather jr sure do like to discuss him even when he has officially retired.

either he is hand picking foes if he comes back for pacquaio, because the guy is clearly smaller. or he is afraid of pacquaio if he doesnt pursue the fight because he knows pacquaio wil beat him.

    True....he did fear Margarito/Cotto/Williams

Cause he's a coward! Not a true champion. It's only guys like Reed and slystaff and bigdawg who support his every move...for obvious reasons.

How Manny dispatched Oscar shits on Floyd's win. I'm certain that and Floyd's lack of money management will get him back in the ring.

it was certainly a more impressive victory for pacquaio. I was never impressed by mayweather jr. beating delahoya, the manner inwhich he won or the opponent. I didn't consider delahoya one of his 5 best wins, or foes.

last time i checked, if your retired u dont fight anymore, thats probably why floyd didnt call him out

unless your talking about floyd calling him out for a sing or dance off?

Last thing I saw about Pretty Dumb Floyd ... he was throwing stacks of money into a crowd while posturing like a total fucking mook.

His dumb broke ass will be coming out of retirement soon enough when he hits the point where he realizes he wishes he had those stacks of cash back.

Dumb fucker will end up broke and probably in jail.

ever heard of SRL? or any of the other thousands of fighters who retired only to return to the ring when the circumstances call for it.

.....i like it less when someone with almost infinite amount of skill retires when he still is capable of performing at the very highest level for several years to come. i hope Mayweather comes back*

Floyd Mayweather would probably beat Pacquiao. He won't brawl with Pac. He would outbox and outslick him.

    No, its not

Its like comparing the number of guys to stay retired, to the number who dont

I'd make Floyd the favorite, but if you consider the first four rounds of the Judah fight and factor in a potential 15-18 month layoff going into the fight...

Pac's more than a live dog.

for a guy who has fought professionally for damn near a decade and a half it seems somewhat odd that pacquaio has yet to face an african american opponent.
