This is the natural fight in the sequence of Pacquaio's career. The best fighter in the world today against the fighter who relinqueshed it to retire. The PPV would be huge...

i think Mayweather should feel a bit unsettled right now

Pac took a massive shit on Floyd's SD effort against DLH

I think that DLH felt Pac's power and it scared him. Add in the speed diferential and Pac being SP, and Dela was hitting clean air and copping bombs in return.

Fraud, come out of retirement and fight REAL fighters? Not a chance, that is why he quit in the first place.

He's just found one more reason to stay retired IMO.
No way is he gonna come back with Williams, Margarito AND Pac-Man around.
He surely couldn't come back & avoid ALL of them

Speaking of retirement, do you think bama will make a return or is he still too humliated to gloat? If he doesn't, he will go down in fightbeat history for being absolutely DESTROYED in smacktalk.

imagine if Pac blasts Hatton away? that would basically discredit the last 5 years of Mayweathers career

Don't be a FOOL, and address the thread like a MAN will ya? Will Mayweather come out or will he quit in his PRIME and avoid fights with Margarito, Williams, and most importantly Pacquaio?

Considering what Hatton did at welter, Pacquaio stopping him is a high definite possibility.

werd...Pacquiao just took a big chunk out of Mayweather LEGACY/GREATNESS....if he dominates Hatton..then thats it...all over for Mayweather...a good picker of fights...Mitchell/Judah/Bumdomir/DLH/Hatton..and completely avoided Williams/Margarito/Cotto...

I hope Manny goes down to 135 or 140.

    Margarito would batter him.

....yeahm well the Hatton fight is much touted, and it makes a lot of sense but it was surprised that it took til just before the SKY broadcast went off the air for Mayweather's name to be brought up by Nicky Piper aka Harry Potter of all people

.....as Harry, sorry Nicky said.....this is the type of challenge that may motivate Floyd......btw, if the fight does happen, Mayweather by comfortable UD......i hope that people don't confuse this fight tonight as some transformation in Manny becoming a masterful boxer

Floyd will do his usual defensive bullsh*t and bore the crowd to death enroute to a decision. Except this time he won't get the decision.:kidcool: That's if Pacman doesn't knock the cocksucker out beforehand.

and pigs will fly on this day and the muslims will shoot them down and eat them :boohoo:

Big Manny fan here. but him beating Floyd just aint happening. I honoustly dont think he can take Cotto, Margarito or Hatton either. but like I said, I'd love to see him try and would love for him to win all those fights, except for against the pretty boy #1 even in retirement.

Floyd hasn't fought Cotto or Margarito either just in case you didn't notice Seg.
Don't ever say never. It only makes one look silly at the end. Let Floyd make the fight and we'll see what happens. We'll see! Pacman will expose him for what he is, a handpicking cautious scared joke who handpicked his fights. He ducked Margarito like a bitch for years cause he's scared. And he barely beat a shot DLH. Which obviously shows if DLH was in his prime, Floyd's overrated pussy ass would've been toast.

no no not at all. I know Floyd didnt beat Cotto or Margo either but thats because well he retired. I was talking about Pacman staying at 147-140. I dont think he can beat anyone else of any significance at that weight, not because he isnt good enough but just because he will be dwarfed.

and Floyd would have beaten a prime DLH also. its like this RJJ always fought at the best he could (before he became gunshy) he wanted to shine and knock people out with his hands behind his back etc.

Floyd is the exact oppositie of that. he has sooo much skill and talent but he uses just enough to beat the opponent put infront of him. so is the opponent if better, he uses a bit more, just enough to win without much risk. thats just the way he fights.

He retired because he DIDN"T WANT TO FIGHT the top guys! And he BARELY got through a shot DLH in the biggest fight of Floyd's career. A fight Floyd almost lost on the cards.
He would NOT have beaten a prime Oscar. He doesn't possess that kind of talent. There's not enough of a gap in talent for Floyd to clown Oscar in his prime. The most he can do is play his usual defensive safety first rope-spinning crap or whatever he does and eek out a decision. There's nothing else in his arsenal that can handle DLH in his prime.
What's funnier is, even Floyd's own father thought Floyd lost the fight! LMAO!
