No doubt Marquez beat the one trick pony twice and was robbed. Can you imagine the beating JMM would give DLH?

No JUDGING ERROR gave marq the draw in the first fight and pac won the second. That being said They were evenly matched fighters. I don't think Marq has the kind of power the pac has and he would not have beat Oscar up like that.

Marquez got a gift draw in the first and a well deserved defeat in the second. How does surviving twice to Pacquiao enhances his legacy?:kick:

Marquez schooled Manny in the first fight (the one that counts)

Manny taking off his shoes after the fight and using his socks as an excuse is amongst the worst excuses ever :atu:

Cupey doesn't even watch Boxing, and doesn't know Marquez has 2 wins over Philipinos, whereas Pac has a long list of Mexicans he has dispatched.
He also says the server this site is running on is a quad core:dunno:

I never said it's on a quad core processor fool. It's currently running on a dual processor system.

A gift draw? Are you a moron or something. The dude got knockdown three times and still came back to dominate most of the fight. That's damn amazing and he easily deserved a draw if not a win.

The second fight was a complete disgrace, Marquez schooled the one trick pony.

If I'm JMM, I'm angling for a fight against Oscar. In fact, Barrera should push Don King to line up a fight between he and Oscar. MAB can't do any worse.

It's pretty fucking hard to get a 'gift' draw when you get bounced around early doors. That draw was deserved after Marquez showed great quality to come back from near distaster.

Moreover, Marquez won the second fight. I refuse to do this whole business again, because it was done to death here, but I specifically recall rewatching the fight (three times) at the request of Mexican Wedding Shirt and a few others after I had drunkenly declared the fight a robbery at first viewing and offering a detailed scorecard,.

It wasn't a robbery, but JMM won by a round IMHO even after I gave Manny a couple of the close rounds that were hard to score.

Either way, both fights were very close and could have gone either way. The tone of your post, therefore, is rubbish.

Not neccessarily. I think he won the seond fight by the narrowest of margins, but I also think that we know enough about these two, that a third fight isn't going to answer anything new for us.

I'd honestly rather see Manny fry the big fish now. He's done with Marquez hopefully.

Well with Marquez inspired by his great win over Casamayor, and the fight taking place at a new weight, I think this would be another classic with another close decision going either way. Marquez proved he can neutralize Manny with his skills and certainly he's been more competitive than any of Manny's competition. Maybe Marquez vs. Bradley with the winner fighting Pacman.

If Pacquiao didn't move up and win this fight with De La Hoya, then I'd have agreed with you. 135 should have been sorted out between those two. But not now. It's Mayweather or Hatton, IMO and I actually agree with this, which is rare because we're sold these "big fights" all the time, but they're usually nothing more than two names in the same ring.

Pacquiao vs Hatton or Mayweather defines big fight in my opinion. The sport has been craving for something like this since De La Hoya v Trinidad. t's that big.

You may want to look that up but I don't want you to lose that kind of confidence you had in this previous post.
So you are saying the server this site is running on has 4 central processing units, and somehow that is the same as dual processor system?:dunno: I'm a fool, but you're a liar. And not a good one.

I think that this does indirectly enhance JMM's legacy more than his actual record pac-man aside, his name does IMO does deserve to have a W beside it against pacquaio, preferably the second....marquez is the best fighter IMO a likely all time great has had to face and he was pretty even with him, that elevates both of them

Everyone knows our server is powered by 4 gerbils. One one has a heart attack the site goes down. So I feed them the good stuff.

:lol:No worries, you could upgrade to solar panels but with our luck we'd be cloudy for weeks... As long as them gerbils like high octane fuel we're :partie:
