I think Rahman fights are the one set of fights I should never pick. Having said that, I'm picking Klitschko by KO Rd 7.

Why are Rahman fights hard to pick? Just pick him to lose and you won't fail. The Lewis fight was the only fight where he surprised...

I would like to see what shape Rahman is for this fight and would love for him to make me a suprise... And the teacher that teaches the other kindergardn at my school I would love to see her naked and I would also love to see Sly apologize and admit an error for once and Muze take his metamusil.... I guess we would all love a lot of things wouldn't we?

    Klitschko around the 5th round.

    Wlad via TKO rnd8.
-It will take Rahman 3 rounds to fire an effective RH, @ which time Wlad will throw nothing but pawing jabs & hooks for 3 rounds.
After rnd 6 Wlad will find his own RH & by rnd 8 Rahman will be toast.

Worst thing that can happen is Rahman winning the fight....

this fight would have been very interesting a couple of years ago, Rahman was ( and still is to an extent ) a big strong man with heavy hands ( not a lot lof ko power unless he caught you with the perfect shot a la Lewis, but the kind of puncher that would break your nose and ribs ) and a very good workrate. But nowaday, Rahaman is terrible, he was terrible vs Zuri Lawrence ( he could have lost the fight if he hadn't put him out of the ring, and Lawrence had like 2 days to prepare ) and the Toney rematch was a fucking shame. I didn't caught some of his other recents fights, vs Sykes for example, but I heard he was terrible there also. Shamefull matchmaking by Klitshko, in him mind, koing a shot Rahman will make us forget his brother dodge Rahaman shamefully a few years back. Unless Rahman has one lost great performance in him and his able to turn out the clock for one night, I don't see this fight being competitive at all. Wlad should have fought Ruiz instead, who's still a top hw and in all probability would have jump on the occasion. But like Rahman when he was in his prime, Wlad will never fight Ruiz unless he looks terrible, start losing constantly and struggles to bums.

I'm also wondering if Rahman will get co-ordinated enough to throw a STR8 RH @ some stage.

I don't know why Wlad took this fight. But an in shape, motivated Rahman is set up stylistically to give a Wlad some problems.

My guess is that Wlad butchers him in about 7....but again, I don't see why Wlad would take a fight like this when it gains him NOTHING.

If Wlad were to lose to Rahman at this point,...Wlad sucks.

This is just a tuneup for Wlad, which tells you how horrible Rahman is these days. Like someone said, Rahman is so uncoordinated that his whole offense sucks just like he does. Rahman doesn't have a chance and he should get beaten into oblivian.

WK TKO 6 after dropping Rahman 2 or 3x's.

Why should Wlad need a "tuneup" at this point??

Wlad needs to be like Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis were and fight the verry BEST available competition. He isn't doing that at all.

If I were Rahman, Id go forward with my fist constantly cocked, like "Im about to throw the hail mary any minute now........any minute now" and that WILL play on Wlad's mind, he'll awkwardly clinch, or back up and fight like an extremely cautious bitch, OR,.. Rahman should simply do what Hopkins does?????,..

back up, back up, back up, back up,..and throw one shot and clinch, round after round,.. then maybe he too could be,...

I will no longer make predictions. I pick whoever LOK AND DOUBLE L don't pick. If Lok picks Rahman, rahman might just end up dead.

This weekend was supposed to be against Povetkin, only he injured himself in training camp (or so said the press releases from his camp). Rahman's a late replacement, not like he was Plan A.

But getting back to Povetkin, many real rankings (meaning aside from the alphabets) have him in their Top 5. Considering both Wlad and Vitali are also in the Top 5, the "best" after him begins at number 3.

#3 Chagaev has spent basically his entire reign either on the injured list or pulling out of meaningful fights.

#4 Valuev spent most of 2008 pursuing Chagaev, instead settling for Ruiz rematch and now Holyfield.

    #5 Povetkin was available...

Using your own words, Wlad's plan this weekend was to fight the best available heavyweight. It's not Wlad's fault his opponent can't avoid tree branches.

Believe me, I'm not doing cartwheels over any heavyweight match these days. But who are the heavyweights you'd rather see Wlad fighting these days? There are already serious talks and a strong push from HBO to stage a Wlad-Haye fight sometime next year. Beyond that - who are the heavyweight you want to see Wlad fighting, and more important, that would actually have fans - hardcore or otherwise - actually giving a shit?

And don't say "the best" - name names.

Maybe you didn't know but Wlad's original opponent Povetkin pulled out and Rahman was a late replacement.

Rahman sucks. All he does is hold. He once looked very promising coming up, when he was in shape and had some speed. But he's turned out to be a complete waste. I can't help but think he's still hearing bells after the left hook Tua hit him with after the round was over.
