Who cares? It's pretty obvious at this point that he isn't a serious fighter.

According to Rafael, they just tried to make fights with Ward and both Edison Miranda and Allan Green and Miranda and Green turned him down.

At least they were trying there.

I think the article said Showtime turned down those fights, not the fighters.

Ward took a MINOR Step Up N 2008...Jerson Ravelo & Rubin Williams Represented a Step UP...N 2009, Ward Should Step Up to Top 10 Supermiddles...

You're right. It was Showtime who turned them down. At least Goosen is trying to get him step up fights, it's a 360 from what they were doing for the longest time. His next fight is a softer touch, especially after coming off of a major surgery.

WHY Would Showtime TURN DOWN Miranda or Allan Green???:dunno:....Those R EXACTLY the Type of Guys Ward Needs to B Facing...

Yeah, that's crazy, and they would be taking Ward from HBO for a fight.

Ward-Lacy?.....not a fight i'd get super excited about....but it would make sense for both parties

I don't know, Dan Rafael has been talking about Goossen talking about a Ward-Green fight for about a year now it seems.

If either network were interested, they would have called Goosen's bluff by now. There must be some ring of truth to it.

Supposedly Green was offered the Ward fight for Feb., but his commitment to fight Mr. Hollywood kept him from accepting.

I think that was last February, so yeah, it has been a year:eek:ld:

Its clear that Ward isnt even the best Andre in the division. Dirrell is better.

Yea I'm not understanding Showtime for that move.. Its not like they been landing any big fights and they could have been showcasing Ward before HBO get that deal with him later. I would have liked to see him bless Green... I'm feeling Ward more then Dirrell X... Dirrell Nice though..

Greg Leon's reporting Ward will fight Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanoa on Shobox in February.

    Huge step up.

REED Thought Andre Ward had a POSITIVE 2008, N Regards to STEPPING UP the Quality of Opposition...But Sugar Poo is a Step BACKWARDS...Honestly, REED would Pick Jerson Ravelo AND Rubin Williams to BEAT Sugar Poo...

So Much for that:boohoo:...Sugar Poo Probably ISN'T Even a Top 30-40 Supermidddle...So Showtime TURNED DOWN Edison Miranda AND Allan Green as Opponents for Ward, yet they ACCEPTED Sugar Poo???...

Ward's handlers must know something about Andre that we dont, probably his chin. They wanna milk him for all he's worth, before they throw him to the wolves. After he beats this bum, he BETTER step up to fighting at least someone like Miranda, or Green. If not, I totally give up on him.

  28. Mitchell Kane

We already know about his chin.

What don't we know about Andre Ward already? On Fox Sports Net in his second pro fight he got dropped and hurt bad by some guy he was supposed to beat handily. Ever since then his flaws have been known. I am surprised he has gotten as far as he has without a L.

He's gotten this far - which isn't a very long distance - without coming close to fighting anybody.

And I say that as someone who likes Ward.
