Honestly, when I was a young 18 year old boxing writer I cut an interview with Fres. He was the first guy who ever remembered me the next time I called him back. That went a real long way for me.

 

Maybe you can call him up and console him on that bogus loss.

You know me though Jake, I don't consider Oquendo/Byrd a heavyweight championship robbery. That was a fight between a top 10 heavyweight and a top 20 heavyweight back in 2003. :nono:

I applaud the judges. Fres Oquendo is unwatchable and he should never be allowed to be on tv. Fist off, Toney hurt Fres every single time he landed. Before you cry robbery, I would like you all to do something. Take away a punch landed everytime Fres initiates a hold or a push to disengage. You will see that Fres is always in the negative. Thank god, he was not given the decision again. My only problem is judges aren't consistent. Casapeor and John Ruiz also should have lost nearly every decsion they had. Fres is disgusting and the judges shouwed they care about the sport not allowing him to foul and stink his way to victory.
