    B-talk:

Is there any interest in this rematch?

Probably not nearly as much as one with Glen Johnson.

ElTerriblee said Tarver had a rematch clause.

I'm all for Dawson getting some love from HBO, but this shouldn't be his debut fight, IMO.

    i'd much rather see Dawson-Johnson 2

.....HBO turn down Froch as an opponent for Taylor.....yet they are willing to air Dawson-Tarver rematch despite the first fight being so one-sided!?!?

Yeah, but I assume this means they're more interesed in Dawson...and why not? He's nearing p4p territoriy and has fought some of the best in his division...and I assume with Hopkins, Calzaghe and Jones nearing the end, Dawson may get a push now at light heavyweight on HBO. It's re-treading, for sure, though with Tarver...but he is a recognizable name to HBO viewers.

Taylor, at 168, hasn't established himself. The winner of Bute/Andrade II or Kessler are the kinds of opponents he should be facing.

I sincerely hope Dawson waxes Tarver this time. the only thing Tarver can do is hope for a money punch. Dawson beat him in every facet of the game.

This is one time I'd actually LIKE to see Hopkins fight...Dawson would tear his ass up. Unlike Calzaghe, Dawson TRIES to hurt you and invests in body punching. Plus his speed would give Bernard all he could handle.

It's time for the rest of the old guard to go...

    Hopkins
Mosley (and I'm a Mosley fan)
    Tarver
    Toney

    Begone.

    You won't, Joe.

Reggie is facing a serious stretch in prison and is already incarcerated in jail awaiting trial for theft and defrauding the United States Government.

    Home Page:
aside from shaun george, i haven't seen a single light heavy who's called out glen johnson.

i dont care to see tarver fight again, ever.

dawson should fight johnson and if not, then at least a lower top 10 guy like henry or travis cloud.

he'll probably make more money fighting tarver again although i dont know who would pay to go see that meaningless rematch.

I forgot about that, but I was just ribbing adamiw because Tarver and Glen Johnson have already fought twice.

Chris Henry has called Johnson out three times now, Joony.

Shaun George called out Chris as well, but when it came time to make the fight, George and Duva wanted no part of Chris.

HARD HITTN' Henry strikes fear in the heart of these gutless 175 lb slabs of cowering flesh. HARD HITTIN' is the Jack Tatum of the light heavyweight division.

if dawson, johnson or george can ever summon the cajones to step in the squared circle with HARD HITTIN' Henry, all three will most certainly get Stingley'd.
