Many of you bums were acting like Frock is this monster puncher, and his punch was his best asset.

Pascal was considered nothing if not chinny - so why couldn't Frock come close to putting him down, let alone out, despite hitting him with bombs?

You were fooled. Frock's power is pretty average at world level. I doubt he hits any harder than Taylor, if that.

Froch's power IS his best asset, which says more about the rest of him than it does about his power, because his defence especially is terrible.

Froch IS pretty average at world level, which IMHO makes him a B-level fighter who belongs in the same group as a whole raft of SMW's, including Taylor at this point (though this is because Taylor is declining and unproven at the weight).

He is better than you think he is Mex, but he is a lot worse than he himself likes to think he is...

MTF, were you not a little surprised that Frock's power had little effect on Pascal, given his vaunted power?

Froch's high KO ratio is similar to many a fighter that has slurped on his shallow domestic league and the odd intercontinental meal, Froch has now fought 1 fighter on the fringe of contention, and has failed abysmally,.. expect Froch's KO ratio to go from what is it? around 85%? ..down to 50% by the time his career is done...That is depending ofcourse, on wether he continues to fight glass chinned fringey's,.....BUT, his KO ratio would definitely stay the same that it is now, if he fought only elite fighters from here on out,..:crafty: and no, that isn't a compliment.

The Pascal fight put it into doubt, but it is possible that Pascal was just in a lot better shape than he has been for those lesser fights

I don't ever recall Froch's name appearing in any 'p4p biggest puncher' threads so i think you are over-stating it a little.

    IMO....Froch has power.....not monster power, but good power....he's heavy-handed

MWS is right. Froch has vastly overrated power. Who has he clipped that was quality again?
