This would've been an awesome fight. And while we're at it, how do you think a prime Golota would've fared against Wlad? You know, the one with a jab who wasn't prone to panic attacks. He was a great fighter.

I think both guys could've or would've beaten Wlad. The pre-Sanders Wlad who actually had confidence and didn't just hold. The holding Wlad I'm not sure anyone could beat, except maybe Lewis.

Wlad KO's any version of Golota.

Ike KO's any version of Wlad.

We've never seen Ike in with anyone bigger than him or even the same size so it's hard to tell. That psychopath may have pulled an Oliver McCall(Lewis 2) if Wlad nailed him. He definitely has the mindset to do that.

I was watching Golota/Bowe 2 again and damn, he managed to put a good fight together for the only two times in his career. I'd favor him vs pre-Sanders Wlad.

KO's both guys, but can't beat Cory Sanders?

i agree. Wlad doesn't have the heart that Bowe did. He'd fold in the first 6 rounds of Golota punishment IMHO.

    It wouldn't surprise me.

golota a great fighter  another gem from double reLapse.

I asked byrd who would win and he thinks ibeabuchi wouldve smashed either klitschko.

Neil, ignoring my qualification when I said Golota was a great fighter. Another gem from the board's angry virgin.

why don't you ask Byrd while you're at it how in the hell he lost to a shot Golota.

I said prime Wlad. Also, neither Ike nor Golota had the quick left cross of Sanders' even though they were better than him.

was golota better than sanders? golota has a grand total of zero meaningful wins. at least sanders had 1.

for all intents and purposes, golota beat bowe twice, byrd and ruiz.

there's no denying that in his prime, golota was one of the most skilled heavyweights in history. he just didn't have the psychological wherewithal to make it count.

don't get me wrong. i'm not understating the imporrtance of a heavyweight's mental fortitude. but if golota could knock you out before round 9, doing what he did, he was one of the most impressive heavies ever to watch.

When was Golota ever not prone to panic attacks?

golota gets over rated by some. the guy LOST twice to bowe. he punked out twice when bowe fought back and he couldn't hack it

Golota does get overrated alot, but prime for prime he beats the shit outta Sanders IMO.

    :lol::lol:no.

Ike would stop Wlad or Wald however you guys like. Maybe it is two different guys, Wald might be an alpha male with a champions' heart. Wlad isn't. He would be crawling on the ground crying for his ebony midget to lift him from the canvas.

Duran beats Leonard but can't beat Kirkland Laing?

    Silly logic...

no. it's not. not when prime fighting stage is assumed. you think a prime Duran, p4p, doesn't beat Laing.

You're the silly one. Unless otherwise specified, mythical matchups apply to a fighter's prime dumb-dumb.
