Sorry Brotha Reed but me being the biggest Roy groupie around I have one thing to say. Roy what the fuck are you smoking? Dawg call it a career. Calzaghe has no business taking this fight. As a matter of fact Calzaghe needs to call it career. He's done everything and accomplished everthing there is to accomplish. To move on and let these young dudes take over. I'll Holla 5000

If anything Joe or Chad Dawson should be taking on Glen Johnson.

Please no, Roy just going to fight to get another PPV payday and not fight to win like the last fight. Then blame the cut why he lost. Retire Roy if you are not going to put your all into the fights to win like going to the body, uppercuts, head hunting alone will not win fights for you at this stage of your career.

If they rematch both guys would have to take a paycut and it wouldn't be a PPV.

Your funny man. Roy fought his ass off against Calzaghe, he was just way overmatched at this point of his career.

I feel the same way, but so many disagree that I don't feel right about it. In comparison to Tarver III, Roy fought. The night of the fight, I thought he was pretty game. He simply didn't have it.

Roy is gunshy, and his legs are gone. Watch him jog, he jogs like me, an old man, because my and his knees hurt. He is done. Does not have the legs. Even his punches are easy to see coming. He winds up which gives him away. They are fast, but only after he winds up.

    Right.

I wonder if the people who feel Roy didn't came to fight also feel that he's capable of fighting like he used to? I got what I expected, and maybe that's why I see it differently.

Your posts are beginning to make much more sense these days. Is the medication working?

it would have to be PPV because I don't see any network picking up that shit.

They did the first one without promoters so I'm sure they would try to do it again and on PPV.

I think they should both retire. Either way I won't watch a rematch.

i don't think they would get the same gate.....very few calzaghe fands would make the trip and every Roy fan knows now, if they didn't already, that they are not REALLY seeing Roy Jones fight

i don't think Calzaghe is seriously considering this fight.....he's probably just trying to appease Roy by not turning down this crackpot idea straight away

The only fight i see Calzaghe taking is the Dawson fight.....it is the most genuine test out there.....i'm just not sure they generate the amount of money necessary to tempt him

the next couple of weeks will be telling.....if Joe is serious about retiring, then we will know soon enough

Bit hard to say, I have a receptor problem and twisted wires,.. hate can induce a more straight forth responce on the topic of Hopkins or Fraud, but for more relaxed subjects it becomes difficult to find the words and the emotion isn't there to push it all the way through, so I have to talk in a 'between zone'.

It's just odd to read a post of yours that doesn't refer to one of the fighters as some form of Marmoset.
