    Thanks for letting me know.

Also saw Revolutionary Road...thought DiCaprio was great in it. Don't think Winslett was as good as she was in The Reader. Overall, not a bad movie, but I don't think it's as good as it was intende,d and that some of the dialogue, for a period piece or not, wasn't all that great.

The Reader is awesome. Hanna (Winslet's character) is a good soul caught in an extremely bad situation and cant defend herself because of shame, Winslet should get nominated in Golden Globe for this role, not the one in Road.

A very predictable storyline that dragged on and on and on.

I apreciated the tension driven film. Low on dialog and storyline. It's unconventional in that respect, because it doesn't try to BS you with corny lines and feeling for the characters themselves.

The house is really the star of the film.

That said, I wasn't particularly taken in by any of it and the ending was a let down. It has some definite strong points though.

Let's save some time and give out some spoilers:

    1) Will Smith's character is not really an IRS agent.

    2) It's the opposite of The Machinist. Will Smith's character remembers everything while Christain Bale's character doesnt remember a thing.

I finally watched Dark Knight last night. What an overhyped piece of crap that movie was.

Way too long, ridiculously boring, and why does Bat Man talk like Cookie Monster?

    1 out of 10.

Agreed with a lot of that.

Ledger couldn't save it, IMO, and this is why I avoid almost all comic book adaptations.

Saw Marley & Me with the wife.

She left the theatre crying. I had to run out and take a shit the last 10 minutes so I guess I missed the super sad part.

Some funny parts but also a serious relationship type movie.

Moral of the story. Some people don't know shit about how to train a dog and it can often lead to hilarity................and tragedy.

Personally, I would have had the fucker put down real early on. :kick:

Workmanlike movie with a good effort by the actors. Worth taking a chick to. Next time however............I get to pick the flick...............and hopefully it will involve men hitting each other with chairs..........or guns..............or fists...........or heads...........or spaceships. :bears:

I delivered pizzas during in a rough stretch in 07. You'll make cash, so that's good. Gas prices are low now so it won't be that bad on you like it was for me. Throw in extra stuff for the customer and they will tip you even better!

On a related note, didn't Owen Wilson just try to kill himself a little while back because he was over-worked or something. Seems like he's made like 14 movies since then.

I think he was making these round of movies when that happened but maybe if he was successful, the films would have done better at the box office. The execs are probably hoping that he does it.

Really ? I didnt like it at all - As I said its the first time I walked out of the theatre and I would have walked earlier only I really like the "sin city" method of shooting the movie.

Absolutley great flick. Must of slept on this one. Best Hanks (who I think has become mad overrated in recent years) film I've seen in years!

Only the very drawn out sequence with Hanks and his son in that farmhouse was kind of a downer and dragged on a little too long, made me from scoring this movie higher.

    Very highly recommended!:bears:

Have been on a Charles Bronson kick as of late and have just recently saw this. Very entertaining movie about a big shot politician trying to steal water from a Mormons family mans compound!

    Great 80's Bronson flick!!

Pretty decent flick. Its the type of movie you would watch once, and most likely would never want to watch it ever again. Pretty good fight scenes, but was really an unbelievable story, and their was not one character you really like in the entire movie. The Limey Chavs that Elijah Wood hung out with where pretty much all douches!

Okay flick, but not one I'd want to see again.

Again this review pretty much coincides with my review of Green Street Hooligans. Though I give this move a good rate on its one of the very few movies that actually feels, looks and represents its time period of early 80's Britain very well. Most modern movies that takes place in the 60's-70's always has a few things that don't give it that nostalgic feel. This movie gets it down flat.

But that's about the only good thing about this movie. The little kid is a very unlikeable cocksucker. Outside of a few of the chicks and two of the guys, theirs absolutley no characters that you like. By about half way through I became pretty bored with it and just wanted it to end. Has a terrible last 25 minutes of it also.

6/10--It was silly fun for the kids, but worth checking out. It was better than half of the movies I've seen at the theater last year. If you date a girl with a chihuahua, you have to take her to see this or better yet, rent it and watch it at her place:crafty:
