What are some of the marquue fights that are certain to take place early in the year? Won't to know if there are any to look forward to. I missed the last HBO fight and the last couple of PPV's so I haven't been up on it. What's signed, sealed and soon to be delivered?

Margarito vs. Mosley....in a few weeks...

Berto vs. Collazo in 1/17 should be a good fight....

Darchinyan vs. Arce in February should be fun....

To expand on what Minati said, on Feb 14th you got a very good B.A.D double header with Angulo fighting Mayorga, and Nate Campbell fighting the dangerous Ali Funeka on the undercard.

Then on Feb 28th of course you got great fight with JM Marquez fighting Juan Diaz.

If they win their next fights...we have...

Margarito vs. Cotto II...in the summer....

Hatton vs. Pacquiao before the summer....

    Winky vs. P.Williams sometime soon......

    Pavlik return from defeat....

Marquez vs. Vasquez IV....though i would prefer them fight someone other than themselves..like Juanma or Caballero..

On March 14th unfortunutely we gotta pointless rematch in Dawson-Tarver II. But on the bright side, at least we'll get to see Tarver get his ass kicked again.

GOOD 140 unification fight coming up between Tim Bradley and Kendall Holt. I believe that fight will happen sometime in April.

HOPEFULLY a fight can be made with Kessler, Taylor, and Froch. I dont care if its Kessler-Froch, Kessler-Taylor, or Taylor-Froch, I just wish like hell ONE of those fights would get made. But money, and bitch ass HBO are holding those matchups back.

Oh and in the spring we get to see Wladimira beat the shit outta the overhyped fraud that is Chris Asseola.

And sometime this year we shall Vitaly Klit vs. D. Haye......it should've been Haye vs. Wladimir..that would be more competitive.

Vitaly will plaster Haye to the canvas in 3-4 rounds MAX....unless he gets injured....:shit:...or fights like a bitch....:stir:...or get injured in the middle of the fight..and quits like a bitch...again.

Gotta admire Haye's balls though, either way. At least he's willing to TRY and back up all the shit he talks. If he had half a chin, I'd pick him over Bitchtali, but he has no chin.. so Bitchtali will starch him.

It's looking like Vitaly/Gomez in the first quarter of 09.

Has he fought at heavyweight yet and if so how did he look? Weight how much?

And thanks to all who replied.

He pummeled Monte Barrett on 11/15 and weighed 215. Record can be found at boxrec.com, fight highlights can be found on youtube.com

it all seems up in the air at the moment, the Haye camp have gone very quiet and K2 look like they are going ahead with the purse bids.....i think at very worst it means the Haye fight gets pushed back a couple of months further into the summer

in all honesty, the Haye fight could do with more promotion and perhaps they feel that it is necessary for the WBC belt to be on the line so that means defending against the mandatory.......maybe Haye could fight on the undercard?

Steve Bunce's boxing hour returns on Thursday.....pretty much every week they have either David or Adam Booth (trainer/manager) on the phone.....the Klitschko's have become frequent guests too so i'm sure we will be closer to the truth come thursday

Thanks for the update. I think Vitaly would be best off getting rid of Gomez first also.
