does anyone know Huerta's last paycheck amount? I would be willing to bet it was in the 25-50k range. I don't blame him for trying to jump on some acting.
I don't blame him either, but with a few more TV appearances, it might help his chances. He shouldn't quit his day job just yet.
good point, but a guy like Huerta has a good enough name/reputation in MMA, he can always get a fight with say Strikeforce or Dream. I think many fighters are looking at the Fedor situation, seeing how he can do what he wants, when he wants and not worry about contracts.
Being a free agent is the only way to make that skrilla.Fedor been making more money than the entire UFC roster for awhile now.
Huerta has been pissed at the UFC for more than a year now. He and others are disgruntled by the UFC's payscale. Furthermore, the UFC doesn't give a sh*t what happens to its fighters. Huerta's just looking out for his best interests. There was an in depth interview with Huerta regarding this, I'll see if I can find it.
