Per boxingscene seems rumors are being spread saying that Froch was sidelined til June, yet Froch denies it and claims Dibella and JT are ducking him. Now I'm hearing on the Eastside forum(dunno how true it is) that Taylor could be fighting Pascal in March on Showtime.

I think Taylor can beat Froch, but perhaps Dibella isnt so confident of that.

Jermain Taylor is such an uninteresting fighter.

It's a shame judges, and networks, like him so much, becuase the only reason he gets talked about to the extent he does.

Thats because Dibella is trying to milk Taylor through easy comp, which is why he's apparently trying to put JT in with Froch's left overs. I can understand Dibella being scared of letting Jermain fight Kessler, but if he's scared of having JT fight someone as beatable as Froch, then he has no confidence left in JT.

    Who cares?

If Taylor, or his camp, have no interest in fighting Kessler I have no real interest in him.

taylor should've fought winky at 168. that was a winnable fight against a big name and would've garnered interest considering they've fought once to a draw in an exciting fight.

froch is a nobody here in the states, but he's just about the only guy left for taylor to fight if he wants to keep winning.

i think taylor can beat andrade, but i guess dibella won't take it that far.

It makes no sense at all that Taylor would be scared of Froch. None whatsoever. He rematches the guy who brutally KHTFO within a few months, puts in a decent performance and then for some reason runs from the guy once described here as 'a farmer with a unch'? :dunno:

Taylor, even at this stage, would beat Froch IMHO. No reason to be scared at all. Sounds like Froch talking :shit: to me...

Froch has a brutal press release team,... maybe what's next up for Froch is a video on fightnews where he threatens to kill Jermaine through a webcam , his photoshop department can also morph him into a malamute to add a bit of extra edge to his ever growing 'fierce' reputation. Yes history does indeed repeat itself.

Jermaine thoroughly educates Carl 'Pantera' Froch on the fine art of puffy mitten in due time, even more so then he did to America's lord of the universe, Bernard Hopkins, his eternal son infact,.. Froch fancies himself the hardest man to ever get into the ring,.. Jermaine will let him have a ride on that 2nd round Pavlik buster, and we'll see if he doesn't fall off,.. ..I've no doubt he will,.. then he'll run like a bitch and attempt to strictly time Jermaine coming in all night,.. just like his eternal son.

lol,.. Yeah right,.. white people fucken suck. Milky, bleedy, white skin, with delicate little needle nosed, girly soft pink features, and squealy falsetto voices designed for weeping after getting EXPOOOOOOOOOOOOOSED, white people are the most feminine race in the world, you'd really have to be some sort of brainwashed sellout or 'sir thompson' to think in the manner that you do,.. besides which, Pavlik is Jermaine's grandson in the end,.. and thier rematch was a draw.

Not the case at all. In fact, it's the second time Taylor/DaBully passed on a Froch fight. They were supposed to fight for the vacant title; DiBella instead went for HBO money and a Lacy fight, an eliminator for that very same title.

Then when the Froch offer came, DiBella told HBO and Hennessy that he wanted Froch to come to the states, yet for Taylor to still make all of the money. HBO told him "Try Showtime if you don't like our offer."

This is 100% DiBella steering clear of Froch. He's hiding behind the excuse that there's not enough money in the pot, but the fact of the matter is, Taylor's options are limited if Lou wants to keep lining his pockets with HBO money.

....the way i see it, is that Taylor has a tough time accepting that he is not the top dog anymore....you can't expect to be treated as an elite fighter coming off two defeats and a 6/10 performance vs Lacy

Froch is a risk.....he's tricky and super-confident.....but he is a route back to the big time....he has a WBC title that could set up unifications down the line. Obviously the purse is an issue, but he's got to be prepared to make sacrifices at this point........

......i remember when Zab Judah, by no means my favourite fighter, took something like 10% to fight Corey Spinks in his home town.....the gamble paid off, and he went on to have bigger fights/paydays

I don't know what Taylor/Dibella expect or even hope to happen.....this is lame assault on the 168 division

Even if that is true, and I have no reason to disbelieve you, then it still doesn't mean that Taylor is scared of Froch...

I can't think of a better example, of a fighter who has shown the willingness to fight anyone if it's not Jermaine Taylor,.. .. He gave the most repulsive, spoiling, cheating bitch-fighter who ever lived, Bernard Hopkins, an immediate rematch,.. he also offered the horribly awkward Winky a rematch,.. and fought the Pavlik rematch straight away,... he also got in there with a pot shotting illegal sprinter like Cory Spinks, which was just a no win situation for Jermaine, but he willingly went along with the fight anyway. Carl Froch is easy meat, if Dibella is really worried about him, he's delusional, he's seeing things that just arent there to be worried about. Carl Froch is currently the world's worst paper champion.

Beat me to it. I dont think its Jermain thats afraid of Froch, its Dibella. But anyway, I think the fight will get done regardless, and I still pick Jermain to beat Froch.
