I don't really know what to think of this one. Several plot holes but you don't really know if they're plot holes or if the characters are just hallucinatingly paranoid the whole time.

Some exceptional acting but watching the movie might drive you as crazy as the actors in it and the end might just piss you off more then anything.

Worth a curiosity watch I guess.

    6/10

A movie from te biggest producers of Finland, directed by Aleksi Mäkelä and starring Franzen, Edelman and Hietalahti. A Finnish gangster movie representing 1960s in Helsinki. Too long but well-acted, a bit Hollywood-like movie.

This was a pretty good movie. Storyline was kind of predictable, but execution was good/borderline great. You really root for Randy "The Ram". The character was Rocky-esque.

It just wouldn't be bollywood without group dance and the Taj Mahal.

Damn, Im about to watch that now.

I watched Appaloosa the other day. Mortensen's performance was very impressive as always. Movie was a bit slow and not really original. If you like Westerns check it out. 6.5/10

Wouldve scored higher but Zellwegger sucks and annoys me every second I have to see her "acting".

Slumdog. The wrestler is more of a guy's movie IMO. Unless your girl's a stripper, then take her.

I thought I was gonna hate this movie, as I'm not a fan of anyone that was in it. But I have to admit, I thought it was great. Well, at least very good.

Yes Man - not the best, and certainly not a patch on the excellent book. (You can spot the author, Danny Wallace, in the background of the bar scene near the end).

It's a typical Hollywood adaptation - take an excellent story, tear its heart out, and replace it with bag standard 'guy is down in dumps; acts unusually; reaps unexpected rewards; meets new love; almost loses her; everything works out just fine in the end'.

They should have just stuck to the brilliantly random story of the book - a guy is a bit pissed off and thinks 'fuck it - i'll say yes to everything for 6 months and see just what happens'. Genius.

To be fair, The Wrestler wasn't on last night for some reason.

Then she wanted to see Yes Man to see if it was even half as good as the book (which i did too, to be fair). She seemed to have no interest in Slumdog, which would've ended in her trying to talk to me and me getting pissed off with her.

As ever, i chose the easy option.

The last few years would include Superbad and no fucking way was it better than that. Especially because it sucked.

Yeah it was really good, just watched it last night. Tom Cruise was a pleasant surprise. Even though i knew he was in the movie i didn't even catch that the character was him for a little while.
