I totally agree he's a bad role model, and I was kind of surprised in the past that you both supported and liked him, moreso than just recognizing that he's a very good fighter.

Personally, if I was black I would feel the same way, ashamed that he was a black man, and certainly wouldn't want him as a role model to young black fighters etc.

I've always despised Floyd.

I've seen several topics where you have shown blind faith in mayweather jr, and because you think he'd lose to the best of the best at welter doesn't speak otherwise. the guy isn't even on the welterweight radar in the grand scheme of things. as far as the least objective fans of mayweather jr, you're neck and neck with slystaff. just because I've been around the guy doesn't lump me in with you chaps, I can clearly see and admit to his limitations in the ring.

While Roy hasn't lived extravagantly (that we know of) I do recall Merchant saying that from what he heard Roy did need money due to how much cash he has sunk into his record label and supporting the acts he signed. Considering the source, you never know.

Ever since I saw how Floyd acted on 24/7 (DLH & Hatton fights) I commented on how retarded he is with money. Mind you, just because he owes $6 million in taxes it doesn't mean he's broke. He might have to have a yard sale to raise the cash. He's only broke if his debts are greater than his assets.

Bet he's wishing he had that $7 million in jewelry...could sell a few pieces and get this straightened out.
