Yep. Hendo is old, and Franklin is just Mr Average. Franklin reminds me a bit of Griffin, but I prefer Griffin.
but they should automatically take off a point when someone is poked in the eyes, it will teach the fighters to keep their damn gloves close
Kang's got talent ,he just doesn't have it upstairs (in my best Zab Judah voice) Know what I'm sayin?
Did anyone else think Rich looked huge on the night, 205 is certainly a better weight for him. Just to let you guys know the UFC went down very well in Dublin, Lots of pubs and bars even had the card on TV although some of the reactions at bar where hilarious.
I was very disappointed in Franklin. He seemed tentative, almost afraid, to exchange with Henderson. Henderson easily controlled him on the ground. I'm also in the minority in the sense that I don't see Henderson as washed up. I think he gives anyone a tough fight at 205.
He's not at his best and that's too bad because in his prime he would have been even more of a force. He still gives anyone a tough fight for sure though. If Franklin was all that, he should have been able to out point Dan.
That right hand Henderson hit him with in round 1 made Franklin tentative IMO.I do agree with you though Hendo's not washed up but he has slowed a bit.
I agree 100%. After that shot, Franklin was literally jumping back out of exchanges. He never committed to his own shots for fear of getting hit again. I never expected that from Franklin.
