If there was a fight where that would be fitting, it might be this one...though 20% may be high.

45-45 with 10% up in the air, maybe.

I wouldn't agree with that - Hatton is big business of this side of the pond. It has been said many times that the gen pop are not that aware of Pac.

But that hasn't been tested since he beat DLH.

Pac has more of a history on ppv, but neither are established on their own.

But in terms of bringing fans, Hatton absolutely fills up Vegas, he brings in a ton of money to the casinos for his big fights.

Yeah Pac has entered a new level after the dela win. For me this fight should be a 50/50 split.

I missed it; how big is the estimated pot here?

50-50 of a non-DLH package is MUCH different than 50-50 for any other PPV fight. I'm not saying that's fair, just that it's true. If Pacquiao has a certain dollar amount in his head, then maybe he should set that as a bar as long as it doesn't dip under a 50-50 split. If the fight isn't generating the expected revenue, then they may need to renegotiate the amount.

Aw, who am I kidding, I just want to see this fight happen

It just wouldn't be a Pacquiao fight without a purse argument.

The Thing is, WHAT Does Manny Pac Do if the Hatton Fight DOESN'T Come Thru???...

Does he MOVE BACK to 135 (Doubtful)???...Remain @ WELTER (Doubtful)???...Or Face Other Jr. Welters for MUCH LESS than what 50% of a Hatton Purse would Generate...

SURELY, Manny Doesn't Expect Floyd Mayweather to Accept LESS than 50-50 Himself...Manny ISN'T Dela...NOBODY is DeLa...U Have to Weigh YOUR Cut of the Purse vs. How Much U Can Generate Facing LESS Marketable Guys...

With Mayweather, it'd be a huge fight, but I wonder if Arum is really that eager to risk Pacquiao against him without taking a substantial pay day, and more winnable, fight against Hatton first.

I like Pac in this fight and it could really make him a huge PPV draw if he puts on an entertaining show(which Pac generally always does) But he is stupid if he thinks he should get more than a 50-50 split.

This is one of these fights where we are all like..Well Pacman kicked the crap out of Hoya so he is gonna destroy hatton

    well the problem is that

Hoya was shot and Hatton is not

I pick Pacman by TKO but then watch hatton just destroy him :bangh:

these unrealistic demands usually follow the first megafight triumph - hopkins was the same after beating tito. the boxer's probably scared of accepting too little, in case it sets the bar for the rest of their career. after winning that first big superfight, that's the biggest step up in payday you're ever gonna have - pacman wants to make it count.

I actually hope this fight doesn't happen. Word is if this fight does not happen Pac will fight either Floyd, Valero or JMM. They are all much better fights then against Hatton.

Because you know Hatton is going to WHUP that Filipino ass!!!

People are fucking DELUSIONAL about what happened in that joke of a De La Hoya fight and think this will somehow play a factor here.

HATTON will beat his ASS!!!! Straight up! Hattton is too strong for Pac.

    To Be Continued

Not really man. Pac is a horrible match up for Hatton. He has advantages in everything. Plus Hatton has no straight right hand. Thats the punch that gives Manny the most problems.

JMM would give Manny a very tough fight.
    Valero would be a war.
    Mayweather would be crazy.

Because Oscar IS a joke. His boxer life ended and promoter life bagen a LONG time ago.

Hatton is still a fighter. He'll beat the hell out of Pac.

    I guess there are still a few thinkers on this site;

Pac is going to get mauled by Hatton. He"s going to wish DLH was still in there. This is SUCH an easy victory for Hatton it's unbelievable. :mj:

Pac was knocked out and counted out by a body shot at 112 lbs. Now he's going to face Hatton's rib roasters at 140. :atu:

So what man. It's obvious he was knocked out because of weight problems. Pacs chin as as good as anybodys. Hattons chin is not good at all and Pacs left hand would land all night. Hatton couldn't even avoid Collazo's left hand and Mayweather is no puncher atb 147 and he knocked Hatton silly. Easy match up for Pac.
