REED Thinks Sugar Shane Can Pull it Out...

His Footwork is More NATURAL, More FLUID than Cotto's...So when Sugar Shane is Moving, it WON'T Take as Much of a Toll on him as it Did on Cotto...There's a HUGE Discrepancy N Terms of SPEED Here...HUGE!!!...Shane will Hit Margarito w/the EASE that Hopkins Drilled Pavlik...Perhaps even EASIER...That'll B the STORY of the Fight....

REED Also Expects Shane to Work the Body MORE than Cotto was Willing to...REED Will B SHOCKED if Margarito DEFIANTLY Walks Thru Everything Shane Lands, N an Attempt to Break him Down...Stylistically, Margarito WON'T Show Shane Anything he HASN'T Seen B 4...

Also, Shane has the STRENGTH to Effectively INFIGHT & CLINCH Margarito, if Necessary...

It Won't Always B PRETTY, but REED See's Shane Piling Up More Rounds Early, Standing his Ground when he HAS to & Overcoming a Late Margarito Rally En Route to a Close but Unanimous Decision...

Margarito. Corner stops it after 9 or 10.

Margarito. MD in an ugly fight.

Too much of a punch disparity, and Shane's hand speed is a lot slower these days. Also Shane won't use his foot speed, jab, and won't work the body just like he didn't against Cotto or Mayorga. But he will clinch, early and often.

I'm almost hoping Shane takes a big beating because he was on his conference call talking about fighting for another 4 or 5 years, which is the same thing he once said about 2 or 3 years ago.

All I gotta say is that the Berto/Collazo fight started 09 with a bang and this will only continue. I can see Mosley having his moments but Tony will be busier down the stretch and will win this fight via UD. I'll Holla 5000

Reed talked about Mosley's foot work. what footwork?

Mosley does manage to make a go at it when others would right him off, he was competative against Cotto. Mosley has speed which Margarito has learned to counter effectively he is stong enough and can clinch... which will make Margarito's job harder. Good chin for Mosley and great work ethic...

this fight will take place in two dimensions in a straight line back and fourth, no michigan shoulder rolls, no counter punching with sneaky angels... Just two guys who like to throw leather at each other.....

In a fight like this Margarito being younger and with a reach advantage looms large... he gets the decision because these advantages let him land a little more often is all.

    Magarito by split decision.

Margarito can throw up to 100 punches a round. Mosley can't.

Mosley will land clean punches, but it's just hard to see him doing enough to clearly win a majority of rounds.

    Margarito via judging.

I really dont know how this fight will go,.. I know that Shane usually fights like a man, and that could be to his detriment at this stage of his career,..Shane can only win with stink tactics, maybe an excessive pot/clinch combination could do the trick, he could very well 'steal' the fight if he wants to, and still recieve a plethora of accolades,... it works for a couple of America's favourite fighters as we know,.. .. Fighting honourably has meant that Shane has sacrificed his victory column a bit against larger fighters, I would much preferr all my favourites fight hard and lose,.. than to put on a stinking elusive performance that has idiot forum members and journalists hyperbolizing pure illegal shit, as if it were brilliance.

    Margarito by two points,..

Mosley's stamina, reflexes and legs is not that good anymore and it hasn't been in years. Its going to be tough for him to keep a man of that size who throws as many punches as he does off of him.

A stoppage in Margaritos favor wouldn't surprise me.

I no longer have a prediction. I am now an agnostic on this fight. If LOK and Double L chime in on Margarito bet the house and savings on Mosley.

    Margarito UD.

Mosley has some moments because of Antonio's aggressive wide open style but is outworked and outlanded as expected.

    Margarito KO 12!

I respect Mosley alot and I think the fight will be competitive especially in the first half of the fight.

I just think that Margarito will eat everything Shane throws at him and will keep coming.

It doesn't matter if Shane is more talented or more skilled or has a better resume. At this stage Shane has slipped alot.

If he was gunshy against Mayorga he'll take a beating from Margarito. Still I think Mosley will be busier than in his last fight and will look better. But late in the fight he won't hang.

I am against this fight. Shane should retire or fight old guys like himself I am against this for Margarito. I will put it this way. Unless he kayos Shane no one will care. He has nothing to gain. It is like a less risky version of Pavlik/Hopkins although I don't anticipate Shane winning. If Margarito stops Shane, I will be impressed, but he won't. Shane might make it boring, but he shouldn't get kayoed even though he is old and shot.

sounds like your trying not to like the fight.

I think the styles make for a good fight regardless of who wins. That alone is enough to enjoy the fight.

The reality is that Margarito is too big in his prime for this version of Shane.
