REED Isn't Suggesting that Green is Some Master "Boxer", but Taylor Damn Sure ISN'T 1 Either...REED Admits that Green is Limited & will LIKELY LOSE, but Taylor's VERY Limited Himself...

If he's bigger, it's not by much. And he never weighs much higher than 168 on fight night.

Let's make a little bet on this one. I think this fight is far from 50/50.

Taylor's not THAT limited. Not when fighting guys like Lacy, Green, or Froch. He's more skilled than all 3 of those guys.

Now if he fought Kessler, or maybe even Bute, he would look limited then.

But when it all comes down to it... I wish Green luck. I dont really care who wins between the two, I'm not much of a fan of either. Just hope its a good fight(which it should be).

Nobody is doubting Taylor's limits, but Green's limits have been seen....and they occured when he was fighting mediocre opposition.

I'll be rooting for Green though. He's a great dude.

    agREED...

REED Doesn't Think Green will have Much Respect for Taylor Initially, so he'll Come Out Fairly AGGRESSIVE...But for All his Flaws, Taylor ISN'T a Punk & he WILL Stand his Ground & Fight Back, or @ Least ATTEMPT To...

Should B a GOOD, Entertaining Scrap...

No... I meant Bute. Taylor sucks against southpaws. He BARELY got past Cory Spinks. Bute isnt anything special, but he's a big, skilled southpaw with decent pop. At the very LEAST he would give Taylor alot of trouble, I'd probably favor him over JT by decision.

But Kessler would stop Taylor. As would Dawson. In fact, Dawson-Taylor would be a mismatch.

Haven't had a chance yet to read this discussion, but this seems like a stupid fight for Taylor to have made (good for the fans; bad for Taylor's career). First of all, Taylor forfeits his height advantage in a fight with Green. Seconnd of all Green has already lost to Miranda and his stock isn't what I'd call very high. Third of all, Green can crack and has fast hands - I woulbdn't be the least surprised to see him knock Taylor out, possibly in shorter order even than Pavlik managed to. Sounds like Taylor's promoter/manager is under the impression that Taylor's days in the sun are over in making this fight.

Not sure what the consensus is here, but my prediction is that Green not only wins this fight but does so in impressive fashion. It might even be a defensive move on the part of aylor's promoter to further erode Pavlik's stock.

The lucky ones here are us the fans to be given the chance to see what could turn out to be a good fight and Green who has in front of him a very beatable opponent that should he win willl raise his stock considerably and put him back in the mix.

Styles make fights. I wouldn't be surprised to see Green beat Calzaghe at this point. HIs loss to Miranda has him very under-rated at this point. The guy can fight and has a lot of tools.

By the way: no way does Taylor knock Green out.

As I said before, in boxing we have choppy 3 minute rounds whereby if the referee doesn't enforce the rules within them, weight divisions can barely matter in boxing, had the rules been enforced, Cory Spinks doesn't go 3 rounds, Taylor wipes the bitch out,.. but regardless, Taylor won, it wasn't a good performance, but it was against a top 3 p4p illegal spoiler looking to pot & STEAL.

Taylor - Kessler, is probably the next big superfight at 168,...and I lean towards Jermaine winning it due to the limitations in Kessler's way too upright European style, and lack of inside fighting. Taylor however, might want to stay away from Dawson on the account of his size alone,.. Chad is a cruiserweight.

Blah, blah, stop with the Taylor excuses. JT struggled with Spinks' slickness and awkwardness. I scored it a draw, but if Cory had more balls in him, he could have easily won.

Bute is a better boxer than Taylor. I couldnt see Taylor outboxing him, he'd have to outbox Bute, and Jermain hasnt scored a stoppage in god knows how long.
