Holy shit. Honestly, the Mimbo came out and was mean. I guess his wife taking half is shit made him want to fight again. Jesus did he fuck him up. I figure Margarito would win a decision. I won't lie. A dominant, total destruction by Shane and a kayo by Shane never ever would I have predicted that. In fact, most people thought Shane would get kayoed. I didn't but winning by kayo.Wow.

I was afraid he'd get stopped for the first time in his career.. but as I talked about it today and thought about it.. I picked Shane to pull the upset and just won some LOOT BABY!!!!:hammert:

It's a Mexican thing. My Spanish is good enough to think Tony is a poor sport. The new translator is very good. Margarito was seriously classless. He didn't give Shane any goddamn credit.

 

After the thrid round I said to myself "The old fellow looks better than he has in 10 years in there"

A brilliant performance by Mosley here. He was sensational. He was crafty, he was aggressive, he actually threw real, effective jabs and he refused to let Margarito pressure him.

I never though Mosley would get stopped, but I expected him to lose a decision here and he just fought with controlled fury, grace and consumate veteran skill and took the fight to Margarito.

Say what you want about Shane's losses in his career and his limitations being exposed therein, but the guy has always been a gamer and a tremendous offensive fighter and he showed that tonight. Being that I am getting older myself, it was a treat to see this fighter who I have sort of grown up with drink triumphantly from the fountain of youth tonight, I cheered aloud for him.

Congrats to Shane Mosley for one of his greatest moments.

 

Just imagine if that were a PRIME Shane in there. Marg woulda got the Antonio Diaz treatment.

 

Shane needs to give Naseem Richardson a big bonus. You know Jack Mosley wouldn't have caught that shit in the wraps.

I liked to see him fight Williams. He could fight Berto and pick up a belt. I would also love to see him fight "Poor Boy" Floyd "Moneyless" Mayweather.

Margarito is a true classless scumbag in the Chavezian tradition. He blames his corner , his constant babblings about "I felt fine" my corner stopped it.
