    :dunno:

Like REED has BEEN Telling ya'll for YEARS, he's a Tough, Ballsy but VERY BASIC & LIMITED Pressure Fighter...Willing to TAKE 2-3 to Land 1...Ridiculously SLOW & PATHETICALLY EASY to Hit....

Again, REED has Been Saying this Shit for YEARS!!!!...& MOST of Fightbeat KNOWS it...

So Let's HEAR It, Margarito Lovers (& U KNOW who U R:lol:)...How IMPRESSED were U w/Margarito???!!!....Did Margarito's Defense Look UNDERRATED Tonight???...Was it By DESIGN that he ATE Shot After Shot???...Was it SUICIDAL for Sugar Shane to Stand IN FRONT of Him????....Was it IMPOSSIBLE for Sugar Shane to Get to Margarito's BODY???....

& REED Won't Even Dwell on the ILLEGAL HANDWRAP Fiasco (Can't Wait to Hear YOU Address this Issue, Double L)....

Bottom Line, Shane Mosley SCHOOLED, CLOWNED, EMBARRASSED, OutMUSCLED, then KO'ed Antonio Margarito...Even REED DIDN'T Expect That...But REED DID Predict a VICTORY for Sugar Shane...

So Either EAT CROW or Tell REED how IMPRESSED U were w/Margarito....

Talking about bruthas with speed and who can fight Miguel. Not car-wash Raheem with the 10-17 record.

LOL, you are such a tool. Every time one of your favs loses you disappear for three months or welch sig bets, but when one of the fighters you hate loses, you are the first to talk sh*t within a split second of the end of a fight.:rolleyes:

Margarito is an impressive fighter. Sugar Shane is DEFINITELY an impressive fighter with a distinguished career and a great resume. He pulled off a big upset tonight.

Reed's trying to get redemption for his bogus prediction of how badly Cotto was supposed to expose Margarito but it really doesn't work that way. Take credit for picking Mosley to pull the upset (for those who did) but you were still DEAD wrong about Cotto-Margarito. Tonight's fight really doesn't change that.

It's just typical boxing fan reaction. It's not out of the ordinary for anyone to do this.

I would prefer however to focus on what this means for Mosley, because this was an out-of-this-world kind of performance from a guy who hasn't looked anywhere near this good for over a half decade. Wow.

No upset in my book. I always knew Margarito was a punching bag. Mosley is a great fighter and he did what I always felt he could do! WAR MOSLEY!

Weird statements from you in this thread. You do realize Clottey holds a title at 147 right? Do you follow boxing? :nono: Anyways great performance by Shane Mosley after looking so bad against Mayorga.

REED doesn't NEED "Redemption"...This PREDICTION Stands On it's OWN...NEVER AGAIN Does REED wanna Hear YOU Talking Shit about REED & his Predictions...

Funny U Mentioned the Cotto Fight, Because After what Merchant REVEALED, REED Thinks Margarito OWES a Cotto a RE...CHEATING, ILLEGAL Handwrapping Motherfucker...

& Make NO Mistake about it, if he Felt he NEEDED It Against a 37 Year Old, FADED Sugar Shane, U'd BEST BELIEVE Margarito NEEDED It Against a YOUNG, PRIME Cotto, N the BIGGEST, Most IMPORTANT Fight of his (Margarito's) Career...

If Anything, Guys like YOU, who Picked Margarito OVER Cotto, Should B DOUBTING the LEGITIMACY of that "Win"...

    Not an upset?

I was offering 4-1 odds in the betting forum.

You could have made four times your bet offer tonight and had money on the way right now on a fight that you KNEW would go this way.

    Good job! :bears:

I think that trainer is fantastic. Mosley looked different tonight in so many ways. Even his basic positioning he looked more balanced. You could also see him using his head, tying up and going to the body consistantly even when it was unnatural for him... and that jab!

This guy got Mosley to think and fight in a manner I have never seen from him before. The old Mosley would at the very least, have went toe to toe repeatedly instead of jabbing tying up and going to the body.

I agree that it was most impressive. I also think that Margarito may have taken a horribe beating tonight and that his weakness got exposed: dude cannot take it to the body. He walkd through on the head shots but you can see he does not like it to the gut!

I feel so bad about that "win" that I'm going to send everyone their money back. :atu:

I'm not concerned with your predictions, REED. You made a great call tonight and a terrible one in July. I did it in reverse.

I was confident enough in my pick tonight to offer 4-1 odds in the betting forum. Luckily I didn't lose any money. People here picked Mosley do pull this off and that was a good pick but no one was confident enough to even call a 4/1 bet offer.

If I make that pick but don't take that bet I'm kicking myself in the ass the rest of the month. Hopefully some of you guys dropped some money in Vegas on Mosley.

I bet $200 on Shane. He's not the type of fighter that's +350 to ANYONE.

Fuck ouuta here. I know that Clottey has a piece of title but I also know that he's not a speed fighter. He relies more on the style of most of the world class African fighters which is pressure, will and toughness. Not at all like Mosley. Nor Paul Williams for that matter.

    Over this?

I like Margarito but he's not even in my top 3 favorites.

    1. Erik Morales
    1a. Ricky Hatton
    2. Joe Calzaghe

Damn, I need to pick a young fighter to back.

Knee-jerk reactions keep going. Paul Williams turned from "Mayweather's worst nightmare" to "he couldn't beat Cory Spinks" and back in three fights. Now Margarito turns from a simpleton to a legit bad-ass (Reed praised him too after Cotto fight" to a slow bum.

And Mosley is the same way. This was NOT a superhuman effort by Mosley. I did not predict this but it was about styles more than anything else. Margarito's lack of defense and slow pressure was exactly what Mosley needed to look good. Mayorga with his more relentless style caused Mosley more trouble even though Margarito is clearly better than him.

Next time Mosley meets a skilful boxer again, he will lose, he is not in his prime anymore. Having said that, I was glad to see this great fighter and great sportsman to get one more big win
