A rematch is not that great now...I was split i wanted Mosley to win...but really..really wanted Margarito to win so he and Cotto can rematch in the Summer......now the rematch is not that great...even if Cotto wins...he did it cause Mosley soften Margarito up...even though Cotto soften Margarito up for Mosley tonight...
This was an incredibly entertaining fight, and it was on "regular" HBO. Unreal. Shane and Margarito put on a spectacular show.
Cotto has the talent. I dont know why the fuck people were acting as though Margarito was the fucking terminator or something. Cotto will wax him in the rematch if he fights a smart fight.

Honestly after this beating tonight it doesn't make sense right now. Both fighters have lost their gold luster and it will not be as big as it would had been had Margarito beaten Mosley convincingly.

The rematch is better now because Cotto fans will think that he has a chance and then he'll get stopped again. Margarito will probably make more money because of this fight.

IF Margarito cheated for the Cotto fight, then he got what he deserved tonight. He got caught and got his ass whipped.
Apparently Trinidad was using to much tape/gauze......Margarito had some plaster like substance(already WET) in his wraps...they were taken by teh commission as evidence..so we will know in the next few days....

Dean Lohuis, the interim co-executive director of the California State Athletic Commission, said an illegal substance was found in Margarito’s hand wraps. A boxer’s hands are wrapped with tape and gauze to protect them before he puts on his gloves. “It was a plaster-like substance,†said Golden Boy Promotions attorney Stephen Espinoza. “It was bagged up by the commission and taken as evidence.†Nazim Richardson, Mosley’s trainer, complained that Margarito’s wraps looked too large with a lump. An inspector for the commission agreed and ordered the wraps to be cut off and then rewrapped. That is when the illegal substance was discovered. HBO analyst Larry Merchant, who was in the dressing room area doing interviews, said he had been told it was some kind of a wet substance. Eric Gomez, the matchmaker for Mosley’s Golden Boy Promotions, said that it was the same material used to make plaster of paris. Top Rank president Todd duBoef, who promotes Margarito, said he was told the wrap was simply gauze that was balled up by the knuckles. DuBoef said that when Richardson objected, Margarito’s camp was happy to comply and rewrap. Margarito’s hands were wrapped by his longtime trainer, Javier Capetillo.
