I'm not saying he's the slowest fighter ever period. I mean you got 2nd-3rd rate guys like Mickey Ward, Ben Tackie, and Yory Boy who were slower than Marg... but as far as ELITE fighters go... is Marg the slowest?

I mean granted, Shane is one of the fastest guys to ever lace em up, but that still doesnt change that Tony is painfully slow.

Which elite guy in history is slower?

PLEASE! Lewis was HARDLY slow for a heavyweight, and this comes from a Lummox hater.

Lummox was LEAGUES quicker, and more athletic P4P than Phony.

You should have specified P4P:stir: BTW, who's slower Baldomir or Tony? I'm not saying Baldomir is elite either.

It depends on the level of elite-ness.

If you consider Yory Boy 2nd-3rd rate, then Tony is more or less in the same company. He's better than Campas and is more accomplished, sure, but imo, they're still basically in the same tier. Baldomir is fucking slow. And he was lineal welterweight champion, an elite for today's standards.

I've said margaritos defense wasn't as bad as campas but tonight it was. every bit as bad. against cotto he managed to pick off some shots. mosley couldn't miss him tonite and he was winding up from the shoe laces like dominique wilkins for a windmill. seemed like margarito had no regard for mosleys power.
