I'm just using your words. Cotto was supposed to show the world how 'far from ELITE" Margarito was in your eyes. Now you are saying Margarito IS ELITE.

So you were impressed by that fight. Good job. :hammert:

I can see you'd rather dimish the shining moment of mosleys career to claim you were correct all along about margarito not being shit. margarito is a tough chap and a very good fighter who mosley devoured.

REED, I have said since Marg fought Clottey, that I do not think he is more than a very good fighter. Mosely is a geat fighter.

Marge has the style t beat Cotto, but not Williams or Mosley, so he's still a B- fighter :mj:

Proud to be a member still.

I'm now firmly on the "Marge really is a bum like we thought, he only beat Cotto because of the plaster of paris" bandwagon.

    True.

Reed is definitely talking out of his other piehole at this point. :atu: This point is worth considering under the circumstances because regardless of other concerns Mosley looked superb!!

    this is ridiculous.

What is the purpose of an "I told you so" thread when a fighter loses ONE time?

I always did say that Margarito never really impressed me.

His beating of Cotto did,...but even in that fight he looked one dimensional and slow.

His gloves WERE loaded in the Cotto fight.

Fucking Antonio and Resto outta be caged up in a pen together for the rest of their pathetic lives.:flip:

When hasn't he looked one dimensional and slow? It's his M.O. and to his credit (although wraps may have something to do with it) he found a way to beat faster and more skilled fighters.

You are right. But just like Mayorga,....I always knew Margarito wasn't as good as advertised. And I was right on both counts.

I hope Margarito and Mayorga end up fighting. I wanted them to fight back after Mayorga beat Lewis and Forrest. I remember Tony wearing Mayorga "Wanted" T shirts.

Man,..that would be a helluva matchup. Especially considering that Mayorga did much better against Shane .

I've never supported Margarito but had to respect the win over Cotto. I GLADLY rescind that respect and say "Fuck that Puto", to quote George Lopez.

I told everyone from day 1 Roy was a chickenshit coward who ran from challenges.

He finally fights people who arent afraid of him (Tarver/Johnson) and people in his league (Calzaghe) and he gets pummeled like the overrated frontrunner he was.

We could do this for every fighter, its still stupid
