Anyway, to answer your question, it never effected Tito because it was never an issue. All we had was Hopkins camp felt Tito's wraps were too hard for whatever reason and they made him rewrap them.

No commision ever took the old hard wraps and put them in a box for examination later. It was never an issue other than he needed to rewrap because a foreign/hard object was never found in Tito's gloves.

In this instance, retrospective thinking is ridiculous as it amounts to the Cotto fight.

As has been mentioned, Margarito was parading around the ring with his gloves off, with the taping cut and damaged around his hand, throwing them into the air after the Cotto fight.

Not the behavior of someone who was cheating, further more there as absolutely zero evidence he, or more importantly his team, cheated in the fight.

now it does look bad for other fights that there may or may not be footage of, but to discredit a performance based on a so far isolated incident is poor logic.

The whole thing about Tito was the gauze, tape, gauze, more tape over the knucks which supposedly the way his hands were wrapped his entire career.

Apparently Margarito had some sort of foreign object in his wraps? I am unsure, however when things like this come to light, it should be taken seriously and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't anything foreign in the wraps, however if he had his hands wrapped like Tito did with more gauze and more tape directly over the knucks, then that is not acceptable either.

 

Everyone is besides camp Mosley and G. Thats the entire point of my stance; we don't know a fucking thing other than what THEY have said. Im prepared to look at the situation, the sources and conlcude that Im waiting to hear more from everyone concerned.
