True to form, world champion boxer Vic Darchinyan continued his pre-fight verbal assault on rival Jorge Arce. I hope she K him TFO just like Donaire did. You'd think his humiliating defeat to Donaire, in which his complete lack of boxing skills were exposed, would've shut him up just a tad. I guess it's up to Arce to further his humiliation. If Vic loses this fight his confidence may be destroyed forever.

 

i'm hoping that Arce wins and i dont think it's out of question. i thought he was a spent bullet after watching him get beat up by that thai dude, but in his last fight against some young kid, he managed to dig deep and win a war.

i'm thinking that darchinyan won't fight him like he did vs. mijares, but instead will go to war.

should be fun while it lasts.

 

Arce has lost since the Mijares fight? What style did the Thai dude have?

My guess is Arce has a far better chin than Vic, and definitely a better defense.

And when does Vic "not" go to war? That's all he knows how to do - crab around loading up with shots he just prays will land. The dude doesn't even know how to feint as far as I can tell.

 

huh? vic used his feints very effectively against mijares. he boxed very well from the outside and utilized his footwork to catch mijares from all sorts of angles.

that thai dude who got robbed vs arce was nothing special. he was a tall southpaw but still one-dimensional. my assumption is that arce took him lightly based on his record.

 

Vic is a great boxer and he'll knock out Arce that's for sure.

 

i've never seen a guy comeback from a brutal ko as well as vic, he deserves credit
