I don't think Pac should be the favorite against Hatton

He lasted the distance with Hatton......... which is more than what Manny will do.

 

Actually, I dislike Forbes. And I'm a semi-fan of Manny, but not a very big one. I liked Paulie prior to the Hatton fight, but the way he performed made me lose ALOT of respect for him.

But in any case... Manny would stop Paulie, and brutally.

Pauli was a one handed fighter and got beat up could not do anything against Hatton. Pac is a much better fighter.

 

I think it may all depend on how hard Pacquioa 'really' punches at 140, against Oscar he looked 'flashy',..but I didnt get the impression that his puffy mittens were doing alot of damage. Allow a strong healthy welterweight to hit Oscar at will, and he would not be still standing as he was.

pacquiao doesn't like fighting backwards, and Hatton will pressure/clinch him like nobody else before. It won't be a walk in the park for both of them.

 

Good thing pressure and clinching doesn't win fights - clean effective punching does, and that's what Manny will do in spades against Hatton

Secondly Manny won't go the distance because Hatton will be KTFO.

Honestly I'd make Hatton a big time favorite in this fight and pick him to beat Pac up pretty badly...

Pac is awesome but Hatton only looks really bad against slick guys like May and Collazo... someone like Pac he'll make him sweat like crazy and the straight lefts will be stifled by a hard repetitive clinch.

the problem with Hatton in this match up is that he'll get no credit if he wins, one way or another
he'll either win because Manny was simply too small and unaccomplished at these higher weights.....or he'll also hold and cheat in which case the victory won't count

 

I think we'll all be suprised at how little size difference there actually is between Pacquioa and Hatton.
