He has a win over JMM, he's an undefeated champ. Is he the best featherweight in the world? Is Rocky Juarez in trouble? Who's seen him fight?

he's a tricky fighter with good foot movement.

i thought marquez beat him, but it was a competitive fight w/ some close rounds. at the very least, marquez was bothered by john's awkwardness.

i watched john's last fight vs. enoki and it was a war. juarez better knock him out or else he's not winning.

He's good like Dariusz was good.
Very consistent. Very tough. Very hard to beat.

Chris John is a very good World Champion and Rocky had best jump his ass, or he will be stunk out to a decision loss.

Not easy to beat Rocky in Texas. By hook or by crook.

Uh...yeaaahNO. This is not in Juarez's arsenal. There s no variation to Juarez's arsenal.

He will plod, he will throw low amounts of textbook punches, and he will punch hard. He will do this for 12 rounds. If it results in a KO, he wins. If it doesn't then he'd better hope the judges like him plodding around (which has happened in the past), or esle he does nothing effective.

Agree. Juarez can be in trouble against anyone with a speck of talent and John has far more than a speck. But Juarez is not without hope, either warranted by his punch or unwarranted by bad judging.

From what I know of John, he seems like the last guy Juarez would want to fight.

Well John schooled Juan Manuel Marquez fairly easy. Blockhead was so inactive during the middle-rounds he had to resort to low-blows just to get John to stop moving.

I think he can beat Juarez, but with this fight taking place in Texas...

I'd say there's a 10 out of 10 chance he hasn't seen it. Does Bama even follow boxing? I can't imagine he would have seen a fight that you actually have to get your hands on in order to watch.

We went through this some months/years ago where he couldn't post his scorecard, then skirted around the subject, tried to extract himself from the discussion with some insult throwing, and basically made it very evident he had not seen it...perhaps he bothered to catch it since, the evidence above says no

one thing i can say about chris john is that he'll make you adapt to his style.

it was a bit strange seeing marquez trying to force the action.

he made marquez miss a lot, but didn't do all that much in return. i had it 8 rounds to 4 for marquez and w/ all the bullshit point deductions, i had it like 114-112 or something to that effect. had john won 5 rounds, i would've had it 113-113.

Chris John won 6 if not 7 rounds of that fight. Juan Blockhead Marquez was confused. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't seen the fight.
