When I talked to Bobby before I sent him the Mack footage I told him that Mack is vulnerable to uppercuts on the inside and a left hook when he throws the right, Chris did not throw almost any uppercuts and when he did throw a left it would land but he hardly threw any.
Chris tried late just like he did with Dianconu and had success but just like that fight it was too late to win.

 

Chris showed alot of toughness but Mack was a bad style for him, Chris can still do some things with his career but sadly at this point he will lose to any sound boxer like Mack imho.

 

Those big bombs take it out of a guy, and Chris didn't have his normal drive or power like he had against Diaconu late, but he didn't get gonged repeatedly by Adrian like he did Mack.

He impressed some folks in boxing with his conditioning and determination, and ability to take a punch, but he carried his left way too low last night.

He is just going to have to go back to the drawing board and shore up defensively is all.

 

He needs to stop lunging in with a stiff arm punch too. It's too easy to counter and TIME.

I think Bob should take him to the Orient, Latin America, and Europe where he can make some much bigger purses, like Bob Foster, Harold Johnson and Archie Moore did at various times in their respective careers.

If he is going to be in life or death struggles, he needs to be paid well for it.

 

If he has life or death struggles with fringe guys like Yusuf Mack I have a difficult time believing a promoter will pay him well.

 

Henry can hit to the body well, but he doesnt move his head or keep his left up, definitely no Hurricane Carter here.

 

Henry has the worst fucking defense I have ever seen. This guy should get a job a warehouse job somewhere and not get into the ring. He also hits behind the head lot. Henry seems like a nice guy, but I really wished he would have been KTFO. I lost money on that fool.

There was so much to capitalize on with Mack, but Henry got rattled at the end of the opening round and really got hit with way too many telegraphed looping rights, the guy never adjusted and even when Mack was dead tired halfway through the fight Henry couldnt up the pace and put together combinations. Good FNF card though, very entertaining.:bears:
