Am I the ONLY one who's excited for this matchup? I think it could produce fireworks. Martinez has the superior speed, and skill, but Cintron of course has the big equalizer, and who knows how good Martinez's chin is.

    Who's everyone got?

What big equalizer does Cintron have?

I'm looking forward to it though, should be a good scrap.

What about it? It makes a fist, nothing special about it at all.

I aint saying he's Tommy Hearns, or J.Jackson, but theres no doubt his right hand carries pop. And the jury is out on Martinez's chin. The problem is, the speed gap between them is so big, will Kerm even be able to LAND the right hand?

Cintron is clearly a puncher, lb 4 lb. Come on.

That said, this is a really tough fight to pick, IMO and there is NO bigger Martinez fan than I am.

Cintron's power is not proven against top opposition. Sure he may have good power but until I see him knock a top fighter on his ass he cant be considered a ko artist. Give me Martinez UD. I hope he knocks the frog out cold.

Cintron has power in both hands. He's knocked out durable guys like Estrada, Feliciano and Mathysse. There's no doubt he's a puncher. He's built like one. And at his best, he fights like one.

Throw out the Margarito losses, and the jury is still out on him.

You can say he had too much trouble with Estrada and Feliciano, but both of those guys, if nothing else, are known for their heart and will. And Cintron still knocked them out.

And it took Williams 10 rounds to stop Mathysse in a fight he didn't exactly dominate.

I haven't seen Martinez fight so I'm in no position to make a pick, but I think Cintron is very underrated at this point. Especially in light of Margarito's probably antics.

If Martinez is as good as you say he is, surely he'll beat Kermit with ease?

I think he probably does, he's a much better fighter. If his chin isn't made of glass of course.

I'm not saying Cintron doesn't have good power, but I'm tired of hearing that he has some great equalizer in his gloves. The dude has good power nothing more. KOing Estrada and Feliciano in fights that were knockdown drag out wars just appeared to me that he outlasted both guys by having slightly better power.

As much as he was teeing off on them you'd have thought they would have been stopped a lot sooner if Cintron's power was near as good as everyone is claiming. Can anyone see Estrada or Feliciano lasting 10rds with Cotto? No, but you hear people talk about Cintron like he's got more power than Cotto does.

Now I've probably all but guaranteed Cintron an early KO.

    Plasterito beat him pretty easily.

Who has beaten him legitimately without loaded gloves?

Well, no-one actually, so I see your point. I guess it's no gimme for Martinez.

I am with you on this one. Cintron by spectacular KO. This will prove that his two losses to Margacheato was due to handwraps loaded with bricks.

Martinez did it semi-easily tonight, but looks like you gotta KO Cintron to win.
