And if you actually followed boxing, you would know that Chagaev and Valuev are WBA fighters and thus not available and noone is interested of Ruiz, so that cuts it to Haye and Gomez who are the next manadory contenders. So let's see it then ok?

Couldn't agree more bro, though I wonder how much of the indifference comes from the fact that most people outside the US have seen Haye fight once or twice and so people are simply oblivious to him...

Perhaps it would be better if Haye looked like this dude...

I still can't understand your obsession to a fighter's physical appearance. In fact Haye has demonstrated in the past that he does fade during fights so it is not like he was in much better shape that other heavyweights. But if ripped looks is what counts, then I see your point. Haye does indeed have a really hot body

If you think that morbidly obese guys with big red gloves on count as top boxers (athletes, lest we forget), then you are fucking mental...

No don't get me wrong, a hot body is definitely a plus for a fighter but I am still not sure if that is the main thing they should be judged on. Your pic shows a red X btw

There's never been a great fighter in history who was fat. Not a single one. And there never will be.

Sure. But the reason is, fat fighters usually have bad stamina or they lack speed and that is the problem, not the appearance itself. David Haye also has a problem with his stamina, so how exactly is he better?

:atu::atu:I guess you never heard of unification, with all the money Wlad brings in, he can fight pretty much any one he want, sadly, he opt for guys like shot Rahman, the Rainman and Thompson ( sure they were his mandantories save for Rahman but he should vacated instead of wasting his times on no hopers ), and the Wlad fan boys love it as they can watch their hot bodied hero destroy no hopers in slow boring fashion while bringing every excuses in the book why he doesnt fight the top guy of his division

Plus, I keep hearing the name of Arreola, who is in no way ready for such a fight, mentionned as Wlad next oppoenent. But I guess it will be just fine for you guys

You have a very unrealistic picture of that. Valuev's people want their man to hang to his title as long as possible, not to cash out against Wlad. Chagaev wants the WBA title (or actually he has one) and he has been absent for a year.

So again, apart from these two names who with their people have never even mentioned fighting Klitschko's your list of good opponents comes down to two people, the ones who are on the line next

Because he's evidently willing to work hard and as long as a fighter has a work ethic there's a good chance he can improve something as affectable as stamina.

Who the fuck is Haye to dictate anything when it comes to making a Championship fight he doesn't even deserve? He needs to take what he is offered, or get in line and force a shot. He'll have to fight someone better than Monte fucking Barrett though.

Did Cliff Couser get a title shot when he KO'd Barrett?

As for Wlad vs Arreola? LMFAO! What garbage. This just shows how completely shitty the HW's are when a fat ass like Arreola is even being considered for a title shot.

I think the evidence suggests he does. No heavyweight shows up to a fight looking like this without having worked hard. And in any case I've seen footage & write ups of his training regime & his running program and it's brutal.

So he works hard to maintain his body.

That should help him against Klitschko.

    How's his jab coming along?

How much time doe he devote to improving his defense?

I have admitted it many times already that Haye's body is salivatingly hot. However we have seen him have trouble with his stamina and we have not seen a fight where he would demonstrate great stamina. That is evidence.

With pics like that you could prove that Frank Bruno worked hard and would have a great stamina too

I'm not saying he'll win because he looks pretty. Im just saying it's evidence he has a work ethic. Which pretty much makes him a top 3 heavyweight by default in todays bloated fucking mess of a division.

I didn't say it was proof he had great stamina. I said it's proof he has the work ethic which would allow him to improve it. Bruno had a work ethic too but he trained in a very ill advised way, ie like a bodybuilder which was why he was so slow and had such bad stamina. We'll see if Haye turns out to be smarter (I've seen his regime so I know he is).

Some people are just born with good stamina, and even with a slack training camp are going to be bouncing around in the 15th round (Duran).

On the other hand some people can work as hard as they can, and still have relatively bad stamina (Oscar).

It looks like Haye probably falls into the latter category. He clearly works hard, and he also clearly has poor stamina.

It makes him a top 3 heavyweight by default?

    Interesting.

You know, I've often thought fights should be determined by the weigh-in.

    I hear ya, bro.

Not many guys want to face Chris is what his people tell me.

Minto is a very good fringe contender, he's tough and has pretty good skills and always comes to fight.

That being said, Chris should finish the guy fairly early, but will catch some leather before stopping him.

You dont seem to get it do you,.. it's not about looking for talent in the heavyweight division, it's about getting rid of undesireables, Povetkin is part of the problem, definitely not the solution or saviour. Was Sam Langford the solution for getting rid of Jack Johnson?..
