If Pavlik knew how to throw a right uppercut, this fight would be over already

Rubio did prove to be quite tough, but part of what stopped him getting KO'd was just being so defensive. Not many shots landed flush, and he was bracing himself for all of them, Kelly never really hit him with anything he wasn't ready for.

Pavlik owes Jermaine a rubbermatch soon, seeing as thier rematch was a draw more or less, and Taylor's son Bernard has a recent victory over him,.. it's a big fight, and it still makes sense, so why not?. Arabham would only close into a shell against Pavlik, he would think to just 'weather the storm' for the first 6 rounds, only to realise that the storm wont go away,..and he'll quit on his stool, it's one of those fights where it's just so clear to gauge what will happen that there is really no need for that one.

Didn't see the fights tonight, but I sure like Illuminati's Salma Hayek snippet. Mesmerizing.

Why doesnt the weight welching cheat stop picking on smaller fighters and move up to supermiddleweight?.. Part of the reason why Arabham / Pavlik should be considered a no-goer is because of the size difference aswell,... unfortunately for Arabham, his body is extremely poor at cutting weight it seems, WTF his tiny frame is struggling to make 160!!?.. but a guargantuan Light-heavyweight 6"3 broad monster like Hopkins can do it well into his 40's ???..

Fuckin stupid 'weight system'.. is not fare or accurate in determining a fighters REAL 'size'..

After the Hopkins fight and the Rubio fiasco tonight I have just changed my mind about Pavlik beating Abraham: Arthur will KO Pavlik silly, Pavlik is there to be taken out. Total absence of defense and a very poor offensive even when he had Rubio hurt couldn't land almost anything to finish him. Abraham KOs Pavlik within seven rounds.

Pavlik's performance was Wlad-like. Easy domination against an opponent who got scared once tasting his power, but he didn't look hot during the win

That just might be the stupidest thing I've ever read in my entire years of existence. Rubio was in survival mode & not willing to bring it...hard to look good in that instance. If you ever find yourself mad at the world; don't know what to do in life anymore & find yourself ready to leap from a bridge to an untimely death; I'll be there with my boombox John Cusack-style blaring Van Halen's "Jump."

Arthur Abraham will have a nice career......as long as he keeps fighting the Edison Miranda's & Marquez's of the world. He would get fucking eaten alive by Jermain Taylor & I OWN that comment. Armenians are only good at selling gasoline at Citgo, stay outta the goddamn ring...

They are also pretty useful for beating the piss out of Mexicans.

But anyway nice to know we have an alias of Kauki here, the fagish mancrush for Taylor and the hatred toward Armenians in one post were a bit much.

Abraham will make Pavlik do the silly dance like he did against JT and he will finish the job on him. Abraham wins before 6.

Abraham is the only respectable opponent for Pavlik at MW, he can either go the Calzaghe route (vs. kessler) and bite the bullet or he can go the Jones-Michalczewski route and have his MW legacy diminished the more respectable Abraham's championship reign becomes....as much as those here want to shit on abraham, pavlik has only beaten one guy who might be as good as him

The Calzaghe route would be waiting for Abraham to be 43 years old to fight him then maybe fighting a young, inexperienced up and comer in 2017. He still has time...

    Exactly.

Abraham will come to fight, not to try and block punches like Rubio, and thus will be taken out around 5 or 6.

I am not sure if you have seen Abraham fight, but he spends two and half minutes of each round behind his high guard until his opponent gets tired. He does it with every fighter. With Pavlik he wouldn't risk a thing

Word, I was about to post the same ten minutes ago but couldn't be bothered. If its one thing Abraham does too much of is keep the high guard, block everything, without sometimes throwing enough in each round. That comment was so far off base.

No, Arabham would have to turn the fight down now,..and finally accept the fight in 2015 in Germany, up one weight division, though by some miracle Pavlik would have to shrink to 3/4's of Arabham's size... and Arabham, (who is in Arab ofcourse) would have to exclaim that he'd never let a whiteboy beat him, then we just about have the 'correct' scenario here.
