"Could he work hard and earn $20 million if a fight with Manny did well, yeah, that is possible but nobody is going to give Mayweather [that kind of money] to fight Pacquiao, Mosley or Jesus Christ:laughing:

    20 million thats it?
If he fought Pacman he oculd easily get that kind of money.
Mosley would be hard to do though.

I'd rather watch Pacquiao fight Hatton than PBF. And Hatton's fights are notoriosly tedious. As far as Mosley, I like him because he fights everyone and never backs down but his fights are usually pretty tedious too.

It'd be interesting if Pacquiao beats Hatton if he'd go after Mosley or Cotto. That'd be some crazy shit!!!

As far as PBF, I wouldn't mind if he stayed retired except that I want to see him get knocked out.

The most beautiful second in PBF's career was in his fight with Corley when he lost his legs completely and laid against the ropes. I thought it should've been called a knockdown by the way. Too bad Corley was "too" patient, having hurt his guy. Too often when a guy has his opponent hurt he rushes himself, and I think Corley was mindful of this in his follow-up assault. But I think he swung too far the other way and didn't throw enough, allowing PBF to regather his faculties.

That was crazy. Who would've thought that of all of his opponents, it would be Corley that hurt him the worst. Goes to show you the shit resume PBF has.

sucks...the Pac fight would fetch the most money, but it is the least intriguing...Floyd would win easily

Probably. I think Floyd is a better boxer and the styles would favor him.

If Manny gets past Hatton without taking too much damage and the fight takes place another 9-10 months from now?

That's a lot of rust for Mayweather to work off.

I bet it really chaps your hide knowing mayweather jr probably received damn near as much if not more money for a pretend fight as cotto was compensated for that thorough ass whipping he suffered last july.

I disagree, I think the most beautiful moment in Fraud's career was in the first Castillo fight, when Fraud, down on points (realistically), was pulled up by Drakulich, and deducted another for the use of his elbow,...hahahahahaha!,... it was glorious watching Fraud curl up in a paralised shell, awkwardly defending himself with his arms and gloves, the legal conventional way, as Castillo beat up on him and won the last 2 rounds with ease. It goes to show for those who say Fraud's a 'smart versatile boxer'... as soon as you wreck his illegal defensive system, he's fucked, thoroughly mentally fucked, his boxing gameplan is on rote,...take a fundamental (and illegal) impliment away, and he's gone.

I don't have a problem with this.....the guy is retired......but everything has its price....he's just sayin that 20m is how much it would take.....he ain't negotiating

I think Lennox Lewis came out and said something similar a couple of years back......it is just the point at which an offer would be impossible for them to refuse

Yeah. PBF really had no answers at that point having had a point deducted for using his forearm. He couldn't out-box Castillo, and he certainly couldn't out-fight him. He lost that fight and everyone who was paying attention knows it.

It's a shame because besides being involved in one of the best fights ever fought, Castillo should also have the distinction as having been the one and only fighter to defeat PBF. Even PBF's promoter was of the opinion that PBF lost that fight.

Watch PBF's corner before round 11. Uncle Roger tells his son he has to stand and fight with him. Roger said that knowing full well that the fight was on the line. And that's what he did. And of course, Castillo got the better of him. But close decisions always go to the guy with faster hands. That's a fact though. Not an apology for the judges having gotten it wrong. And it's certainly not to say that PBF won that fight.

What's hilarious is that Roger kept saying PBF would get him, "going down the stretch." He was obviously trying to replicate his brother's prediction that PBF would knock Corrales out, "around about round 7."

    agREED...

Because of his OWN Arrogance, Floyd's Actually MAKING a Fight w/Pac TOUGHER, by Staying "Retired"...Dude Should ALREADY have a Fight SIGNED for May or June by Now, Since Hatton-Pac Go's Down in Early May...Floyd Should B FIGHTING, Working Off the RUST by May-June @ the LATEST, if he's SERIOUS about Facing Manny Pac (Presuming he Beats Hatton) in Late 2009...

Floyd-Shane Makes Sooooooooooo MUCH Sense, which is why it WON'T Happen:boohoo:....But @ this Point, REED would Settle for Floyd vs. ANYBODY, as Looooooong as it Go's Down THIS Summer w/another Fight Late 2009...

Bottom Line, if, If, IF Floyd Faces Manny Pac w/NO "Tune-Up", he's INCREASING Manny's Chances of BEATING him...It's NOT Smart to Think U Can Work Off the Rust Against the QUICKEST Guy U've EVER Faced, which Pac would B to Mayweather...

instead he has the distinction of a guy who disgraced himself at the scales repeatedly, and fucked off his money.

let's not take arum's word for that decision anyhow. I asked him who HE thought won at the press conference for morales-barerra II and he said "it couldve been a draw but if anyone won it was mayweather." so there! put that in your needle and inject it!

all these cyclops have to cling to is 30 seconds of a round during a beatdown over a cross dresser inwhich mayweather jr was buzzed and resumed beating the blokes ass the very same round, and a close decision victory over a guy he immediately rematched and defeated again.

buzzed? his legs were completely gone! had it not been for the ropes he would've hit the ground. whether or not you want to admit that is of no concern to me. you probably don't even remember the round. the PBF cock-sucker that you are, you've probably repressed the memory.

and btw, it wasn't the only time in that fight that PBF was hurt. Corley hurt him twice in that fight. the one that excited me the most was the left hand that completely short circuited PBF and left him with no choice but to retreat to the ropes or else fall on his face.

Should've been called a knock-down. And Corley should've been more aggressive at that point and finished him.

Arum could probably tell by the tone in your voice and the manner in which you asked the question who you thought won. He probably didn't have time to debate who the winner was with a parasite like you.

And it probably influenced his answer the fact that you're black as well, wouldn't you say?

So Arum's private little "conversation" with you trumps the position he took at a press release. Be smart.

You watch the fucking fight! The only reason there's controversey is because of the myth that PBF won the first four rounds. And that's why you can't fathom Castillo having won. But if you open your eyes and watch the fight instead of drooling over PBF's foot-work, you'd see that he did not win the first four rounds, let alone "easily" as people like to say.
