Ahhh this night is starting out beautifully already. John is beating the shit outta one Houston hype job... Marquez will do the same to the other shortly.
Holy fucking Crap the Setanta-Expert just tore Max Kellerman a new asshole for doing such a shit interview with Chris John... Damn that was crazy... i wonder if Kellerman banged his daughter or something... WOW
Well Kellerman wasn't close enough to John with the mic although the crowd was booing so loud and english isn't his mother tongue. Buncey criticized that as being very amateurish going on a 2 minute rant saying that was shit and garbage interview and that dude didn't make it out of the second class of journalism school... it was really something and the other guy was looking at the camera like WTF... ::
This is what I'm talken bout baby! Nice round. It was close though might have to give it to Diaz. I'll Holla 5000
As expected, little bull wasn't gunna be beating no Gay Manuel Marquez. Bit of a scare at the start, when GMM seemed bothered by Juan's pressure, before he adjusted and started to beat the fuck out of Diaz in the mid rounds.
Yep. The thing with Marquez is that you always knows he's going to find a way to adjust. I wasn't as concerned as i would have been rooting for a lot of other fighters. The thing is Marquez is 35 years old, has been in a lot of wars and is now fighting bigger guys. I don't see him having too many more great performances left.
WOW I watched this fight hung over on my couch yesterday afternoon, I was feeling bad for JMM early on and then Booom take that baby bull - the finished was beautiful. :cheer:

Chris John is a much better fighter than I've heard him described as (having never seen him fight before). He doesn't seem to hit hard, and he uses the ring, but he's not a "runner" in any sense. Even though I thought Juarez probably lost I think he did show improvement as far as letting his hands go and throwing more punches. His face at the end of the fight was proof of that. The best thing you can say about Juarez on Saturday is that he gave himself a better chance to win than in any of his previous fights, IMO. Of course, everything is dependent on the opponent and knowing that John doesn't hit very hard, Juarez's improved output could've been more a reflection of this than a conscious improvement on his part. At any rate, you have to give Juarez credit for taking on any and all comers. There doesn't seem to be a fighter out there he wouldn't get in the ring with. He was lucky to get a draw. I guess his pursuit of a title continues....
