You would think that, being the poster with the least amount of knowledge here. No offense of course.

Marquez might have won the second, but he did not win the first. Pacman won 6 or 7 rounds, plus 3 knockdowns - clear win.

Agree. I was very impressed with Diaz in this fight. He has turned out to be a better fighter than I thought he would.

Agree. I believe Juan--the cut did him in. He couldn't see.

I wouldn't argue that it contributed, but that's not the whole story. You make it sound as if without the cut Diaz was on the way to winning.

Let's also not forget Marquez was cut first.

Oh my God, you just made me laugh.
Ok to say PAcman won the first fight...fine...it was close.
But to say Pacman won 7 rounds plus the 3 KD's...give me a fuckin break.
JMM won at least 8 rounds....sorry.

Pacquiao won both fights vs Fagquez. The first one by 3 points EASY, and the second one by 2 points. Pacquiao was slightly weight drained too trying to make 130 for the second fight.

As for the Diaz-Fagquez fight, Diaz was winning the fight on ALL cards before round 8. The cut severely affected Diaz. He needs to toughen up to the sight of his own blood. Marquez made a great comeback, but that should show you something about him as Nate Campbell had a FAR easier time with Diaz than Fagquez.

That's 1 Way of Looking @ It...But by the Same Token, Nate Campbell NEVER Dropped Juan or even Came Close, Really...Not Only did Marquez Drop him Twice, he STRETCHED Juan & LEFT his Ass Prone on the 2nd 1...

w/Out Question, the MANNER of Marquez's Victory is MORE Impressive than Nate's....

F.Y.I., it IS Possible to B a Manny Pac SHILL, while Giving DUE PROPS to JM Marquez...

Juan got taken apart in two very different ways. The final uppercut aside, as Manny Steward pointed out...once Diaz got cut his facial expression changed. I'm sure in his mind he fell apart...it seemed like that to me anyway.

That goes back to the Nate Campbell fight...that's where the doubt started.

Exactly. It's not like this didn't happen before.

The cut badly affected Diaz's mental attitude. A lot of people are hopping on Fagquez's dick for his victory, but he was losing this fight before Diaz crumbled mentally.

Nate had a FAR easier time with Diaz.

I didn't have Marquez losing the fight, had him slightly ahead but the tide had turned. Diaz has always gotten hit clean by lesser opponents and Marquez simply could handle the incoming better.

A guy who applies that kind of pressure with little power will always run into trouble against tough guys who can take his pressure and hit him back harder than he hits them.

Blood & Facial Expressions Aside, Marquez HURT & DROPPED Diaz Twice (Hurt him MORE than Twice, Actually)...JM DIDN'T KO Diaz BECAUSE of the Cut, he KO'ed him Because of HIS OWN Power....

The Cut Against Nate was even WORSE, yet Diaz NEVER Hit the Canvas AND he Went the Full 12...Sure, Nate EXPOSED the Fact that Diaz Gets RATTLED when Cut, but Who Else has KO'ed Juan, Besides JM???...

If there any argument for comparing the p4p status of marquez and pacquaio, your irrational and juvenile hating of marquez is proof enough that they are at least comparable..reminds me of how RJ fans used to get in a strop over michalczewski/jirov/anyone who was perceived as a threat, during his p4p reign. Get over it you big baby, pacquaio deserves better than your fan boy fellatio.

    It's WORSE N this Case...

Manny's METROSEXUAL Brigade has SEEN him Go Tooth & Nail on EVEN TERMS w/JM for 24 Rounds...They've SEEN Manny LOSE The Majority of those 24 Rounds, yet they STILL Treat Marquez like Manny Walked Right THRU him or Something...

No One's Stated OTHERWISE...But the Fact REMAINS, JM Disposed of Diaz MORE IMPRESSIVELY than Nate Did...

Marquez also disposed of Robbie Peden and Joel Casamayor...not that it matters.

Juan getting blazed the way he did served him better than taking another prolonged ass whupping like he did against Campbell.

I still say Nate inflicted the most damage, Marquez simply slammed the door on the kid.

You can also turn around your question and ask who else whupped Juan's ass like the way Nate did?

REED would DEFINITELY Say that Marquez Did...Yes, Marquez TOOK More N the Process, but CLEARLY, his Shots AFFECTED Diaz MORE than Nate's Did...

From the 4th Round Onwards (Maybe even the 3rd), it was Pretty Much ALL Marquez...It's NOT Like he Caught Juan w/Some LUCKY, DESPERATE Shit...He was CHOPPING Juan's Ass Down...By the END of the 8th, it was APPARENT that Juan was Circling the Drain...

N the VAST MAJORITY of Cases, a KO is MORE Impressive than a Prolonged, Dominant 12 Round UD...

HOPEFULLY, Manny's Metro's AIN'T Trying to Insinuate that Nate Campbell is BETTER than JM Marquez...

I can't believe GMM's punching power at 135. The guy wasn't exactly a huge featherweight either, and now he has consecutive, PROPER ko's over Casamayor and Diaz.

I really want Valero to fight either GMM or Pacman to silence his groupies. He'd get utterly flattened by both of them.

Like REED Said PRIOR to the Fight, JM is a "Cutey" than can BANG...Despite Being a "Pure Boxer" STYLISTICALLY, Marquez Hits VERY Hard...Usually, Guys Fight that Way BECAUSE of a LACK of 1-Shot Punching Power...

speaking of adjustments. Do you remember when Steward said that Marquez had to block the hook and throw his punches at the same time and he said "I don't know if Marquez can do that." look at round 7 (if my memory serves me) that's exactly what he was doing!!! He was blocking Diaz's punches and getting off his own. That's the skill of the master.

REED is the voice of reason aided by the Cupster and Salaco in this case.. it hard to take Alabama seriously or anyone who thinks that a score has been settled between Pacquio and Marquis.... No. sorry when judging determines any decision it is indeterminate... as long as there are people who saw Marquis fight Manny they somoene will know that the decision could just as easuly been made inni minni mini mo....

So then we have Muze and Reed getting into a classy debate about who whupped Diaz worse... silly imo silly. Marquez was great before Diaz and Diaz is tough and as Muze said "when you are a swarmer a guy who can hit hard can rock your boat.

Actually, I agree with Alabama Man on this one, Cambell vicotry over Diaz was far more conclusive than JMM one imo. Vs Diaz, I thought it was obvious that JMM was showing sings of an aged fighter as he was wasting a lot of obvious conter opportunity and had far too much trouble with a guy as limited as Diza. Juan was so open for the right uppercut and JMM hardly ever used it. While I had JMM slightly ahead before the stoppage, Diaz was winning the 9th conclusively before the ko, wich to me was more of Diaz giving up mentally, mainly because of the cut(and yes I know I am in the minority on this one )
