I could not believe what I read tonight.

This mismatch should not be allowed to go through.

Jameel may wind up like Greg Page after this..or worse.

What a horrible mismatch on HBO.

What can Chris possibly learn from demolishing an over the hill guy like this?

Either way, it makes no sense except for the blood letting viewership that will happen to Jameel.

arreola is not that good. it will be a competitive, shitty fight, unless the gleam from HBO's lighting reflects off your freshly windexed skull at ringside & blinds NoSpine long enough for arreola to land a series of haymakers

how is this a mismatch? Arreola has not fought anybody I've heard of. McCline is the first name on his record that I recognize.

The last time I saw McCline he had Peter on the canvas 3 times. Arreola hasn't even fought that level of competition.

If anything Arreola has to prove he can beat this type of competition before even dreaming of Wlad.

I have a lot of doubt it will be a mismatch, Arreola fought no one worth a damn and McCline gonna be his real first real test imo. If he is able to stop Jameel, it's gonna it's gonna really help him get a title shot and prove he belong on that level. And if Arreola comes in at 1000lbs like he has in his recent fights, I think he may get stopped.

    Agreed.

I think most will pick Arreola by a slim margin, but he is by no means a heavy favorite, nor is this fight a mismatch.

If I had to call it, I'd say that McLine comes out fast and lands that quick jab here and there, but over time Chris walks him down and starts planting his feet and connecting well. Arreola wins a 116-112 type UD or a mid-to-late round stoppage.

But what's to stop McCline from landing some good stright right hands or sweeping lefts early on and hurting Chris Arreola? Tell me, would anyone here be truly shocked if McCline knocked Arreola down 2-3 times early like he did to Peter?

Last time I saw him he made his best imitation of an octopuss in his fight vs Ruiz. Tought I heard he had his jaw broken in that fight.

Is Stinger being sarcastic or something? This is the only explanation that I can think of.

McCline's Definitely a LIVE Dog Here...Not Because he's GREAT or Anything, but Because Arreola's Completely UNproven...If Travis Walker can HURT & DROP Arreola, McCline Can Definitely BEAT him...

I just don't get why HBO approved McCline thought. In his last few fights, he has been very very boring ( didin't see his fight with Mollo but I heard it was pure shit ). There are a lot of guys out there that would test Arreola and could make an exciting fight, McCline resoleve and determination are very questionnable at this stage of his career and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him just come in for the paycheck.

McCline is like the Box of Chocolates that Forrest Gump RAVED about...He was Brought in to Make Sam Peter Look Good & Nearly STOPPED him...He Gave Calvin Brock a Good SCARE B 4 Losing that 1 as Well...Then of Course, there was his PETRIFIED "Performance" Against Wlad...

But Having Said That, REED DOESN'T Think Arreola SCARES McCline as Wlad or Some Others May have....McCline HAS to Realize that this Could B his LAST HBO Fight, so REED Would Expect him to FIGHT like it...

its a shitty fight. I plan on attending the card so I may prefer to be at a mandalay bay craps table or urinating in stinger's retina instead of watching this heavyweight waltz between to sloths.

....i don't think it should be considred all that much of an upset if McCline pulls it off.....hopefully he does, because it would be quite funny to see who is the next pathetic looking heavyweight that HBO have lined up to save the division

Chris Arreola is fuckign garbage! What does anyone see in this guy?

He's sloppy as all hell, he can't even get himself into proper shape. He's just another typical fat ass HW. This guy is going nowhere.

As bad as McCline may be these days, I certainly wouldn't pick Arreola over him and I sure as hell wouldn't call it a mismatch.

I can't understand how Karl could hype this guy and talk shit about guys like Pac and Valero who are WAY better fighters.

I agree. I'm sometimes perplexed by the hype a certain fighter receives, and areola is one of them.

This is a pick em fight.

I'm finished with watching Arreola. I'm sorry, but if your job involves you being in public with your shirt off, don't have man-boobs.

This is why it's hard for me to see McCline actually beating Arreola.

The biggest advantage Arreola has over McCline is probably be mental.

McCline had Peter all but out of there early on at the Garden, and he fights the rest of the fight like a floater.

I can't remember even a semi-relevant fighter he's put away since Cedric Boswell (and I seem to remember Bos hitting the wall in that fight).

McCline could very well have success early, but I don't see Arreola just allowing him to go through the motions in the middle rounds like some opponents have...unless he just doesn't have the stamina/conditioning.

Maybe I'm giving Arreola too much credit, though, to think he'll be in better shape.

When I first read the title, I was trying to figure out which fighter would be the executioner and which the executed.

That said, I think Decline ko's this fat slob.
