I'm not sure how the Machida/Silva would go down but it would be a chessmatch from hell and one of the best strategy based fights ever. But no doubt, Rashad is just holding the belt until Machida finally gets his shot, once he does, 205 will look very similar to 185. At 185 it is Silva and everyone else a very distant 2nd place as at 205 it will be Machida and everyone else a very distant 2nd place.

Hey TFK, since you run this forum, I'd like to submit an official "Change of Opinion".

Brown was explosive as hell. He raped Pete Sell.

I still remember when Machida was whipping Tito Ortiz's ass for nearly the whole 3 rounds and then in the final 10 seconds, Ortiz pulls the triangle choke on Machida from nowhere and the whole building erupts. Too bad he didn't lock it, would've been an unbelieveable win for Ortiz upon his last fight with the UFC.

That dude Shane has some power in those hands it was almost a jab that sent Gab into a deep sleep.

Jardine did his boy Rashad a favor by losing last night - The dragon would destroy Rashad Evans. Rampage got the win I think he will also beat Evans but he won't hold the title for long with Lyoto around.

BTW isnt Rampage the funniest mofo on the planet I love that guy he is hilarious.

he's brilliant....i think he's the best/funniest character throughout MMA and boxing.....i love everything from the mean look he gives pre-fight, to the interview he gives post-fight

but i think he is in trouble vs Rashad.......He's too slow

and that was Tito fucking Ortiz. Which really brings Machida's sub defense into question.

People make a big deal about that win, who has Tito beat lately? Nobody!

I'm not saying Machida is not good, he clearly is but saying he's going to be king of 205? Little early for that IMO.

Shane is powerful, no doubt. And thank you Hanzy for pointing out he took three bombs from a very powerful big HW and still managed to get the W. Those questioning his chin have never fought with 4oz gloves. You could question his striking defense, but the chin stood up.

Rampage is the best spokesman the UFC could ever hope for. The guy is hilarious:lol: I love it when he talks after fights, before fights, or whenever.

He took those shots well, Gab caught him with some nice shot and he took them.

    "I want my belt back"

Rampage is the man and totally won the stare down with Rashad....we need one last big performance from Rampage to beat that ass

BJ Penn? BJ has no business fighting at 185, which is the weight they fought at.

What else is new? BJ is fat at 170, he should never ever fight above 155.

It definitely wasn't HW. Maybe 205 but not HW.

You aren't on board yet with Machida, Z, but you will be. No one currently at 205 has the skillset to beat him. Of course, as always with 4oz gloves theres a chance of a ko, similar to Serra/GSP 1 but besides that 205 doesn't have the talent/skill to beat Machida. Silva is the only one in the UFC at the moment.
