Per boxconfidential. Arum says Mora is next for Pavlik.

Yet ANOTHER joke of a title defense by Pavlik. Looks like after getting exposed by B-Hop... Arum wants to protect Kelly forever.

They want nothing to do with Abraham it seems.

Seems to me, what I was seeing in Pavlik's future a year or so ago...and got flamed for it.

 

Well if you called it before Tam, then props to you. When Pav beat Taylor twice, I never thought he'd go the pussy route during his reign as Champion... but he is.

He doesnt wanna fight Abraham... doesnt wanna move up 168. He just wants to stay at 160 and beat up stiffs.

Apparently Arum knows, and Kelly himself knows the truth.... Pavlik isnt THAT good.

I've never been a fan of The Contender and only have watched a couple of episodes. It seems like they're trying to push these guys down fans throats as respectable opponents just because they were on that damn reality show.

 

Call this Fight a "Joke" if U Want to, but as a Pavlik Fan, REED is CONCERNED...Mora is a HORRIFIC Style Matchup for Pavlik; He Never EVER Stands Still & he has EXCELLENT Hand & Footspeed...When Mora WANTS to Hit Pavlik, he WILL & when Mora WANTS to Stay Away from Pavlik, he WILL...

There's a 0% Chance of Pavlik Looking IMPRESSIVE N this Fight & Depending on the Judges, Pavlik Could even LOSE this Fight...From a Matchmaking Standpoint, REED Can't Think of a WORSE Guy for Pavlik to Face...Even if Pavlik Wins, he LOSES...

I cant see it. Mora just fucking sucks. He'll get hammered, and I'll enjoy it cause I hate Mora. But at the same time... if Pavlik were to somehow lose... I'd chuckle at that also.

Take me OFF the Kelly Pavlik bandwagon ladies and gentlemen!

 

I can't say I have a whole lot of interest in this fight, but it's the middleweight division, so there's not a whole lot of names, or challengers, other than Abraham (and potentially the Williams-Wright winner)...and I don't see Arum going out of his way to make any of those fights (before or after the Hopkins loss).

Supposedly Gary Shaw was pushing pretty hard for Vernon Forrest to get this fight with Pavlik.

I think it's good that fight isn't happening, because Forrest-Martinez should.

 

Mora beat Forrest when everyone gave him no chance at all. He's got a very negative style and makes everyone look bad.

The good thing for Pavlik is Mora can't punch for shit so he can wade through his shoe shine flurries and keep a steady workrate.


I hate this fight.

 

Well shit, Forrest woulda been a better opponent than Mora.... considering Vernon just kicked Mora's ass.

I hope The Punisher somehow beats Pavlik's ass.... though I doubt it.

 

Eric Regan was able to take some rounds of Mora, and he's a destitute man's version of Kelly Pavlik.

The Ghost has no business losing to the Latin Fake.

 

I love this fight. This gives me a chance to see Mora stretched. This is a great fight.

Forrest was in piss poor shape for the first Mora fight, and had totally underestimated Mora. I guarantee you Martinez would have white washed Forrest on that night.

Martinez is better than Mora. I dont even think its debatable. Martinez is faster, more athletic, more skilled, more powerful... more EVERYTHING than Mora.
