According to BoxingScene the fight will be in July or August, but that Forrest will take a tune-up before then:

Martinez will make Forrest look his age, and win a UD.

Loved Forrest ever since he shut Baldomir out, then lost to Sergio Mora in an upset. Beautiful combo that, my agenda was well suited.

:nono: Reed please,...Every fighter who possesses a clean and legal style crashes out in the end,...

:crafty::crafty: So it makes it all the more sweeter when fighters who are in it soley to pot and preserve LOOOSSSEEE-OOOZE-OOOZE-OOOZE OOOZE!!!!,... it's there,.. that deserves the Fraud-groupie hysteria over being EXPOSED,.. ..- when Fraud lost to Castillo,.. he was actually EXPOSED, because despite all the illegal impliments and running,.. he still couldnt get it done,... ..same with all of Hopkins cowardly career losses,.. "EXPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSED!!!".... warriors who go down swinging in entertaining fights,... are never 'exposed',.. they are worshipped,... as Castillo was, despite being stopped by Chico, his performance was celebrated,.. attitude wise, it was further a proud moment in boxing.....

Alternatively... we have Floyd Mayweather 'winning' in an unforgettable performance against Carlos Baldomir,....this is what you Fraud groupies crave,.. this is the excitement you elicit through this sport,..

    Floyd retaining his 0,...

Furthermore with the eyes of the world watching american culture at it's finest, Floyd bawls his eyes out on a wooden podium, while simultaneously recieving a cheque for 8 million and '$1' dollars to spend on jewellry made by malnourished child labourers in Africa,..he cried, because one old man informed him of the reality of his performance, outside of his paid dick-sucking posse, alongside his heavily filtered 'Boxingtalk' chat-forum,... ......all in all, :doh:you must be very proud to be a Floyd fan, especially from a philosophical point of view,...., having Jermaine Taylor lose a fight, isn't all that bad really.

Is this the Martinez that stunk it out against Cintron?

Who knows. His south-paw style and movement could give Forrest a lot of problems. On the other hand, Forrest is at his best when he's allowed to fight going forward.

I'll definitely be rooting for Forrest.

....good fight.....will the winner be considered as the #1 at 154?....i know there are a few other guys but no one else seems to be fighting each other

....July/August is a long way off.....both guys having tune ups first is always a worry, plenty of potential for cuts and injuries to occur between now and then
