Would not surprise me, Pac definitely has the heat to knock Hatton out.

This is a more dangerous fight than Marquez, but it also has the ability to swing one way or the other very quickly.

I'll be on the edge of my seat for this one.

I know sparring isn't the same thing, but Pacquiao has been manhandling bigger men than Hatton in sparring since he was training for De La Hoya. Hatton will try to impose his size over Pacquiao, which will be a mistake. He's terrible against lefties too.

If all Hatton brought to the fight was size, I would consider this more relevant.

Exactly, Hatton is gonna have an easy time with Pac imo, maybe he'll get hurt once or twice but he'll dominate the rest.

Yeah and has only lost to the one of the greatest fighters of all time.
It has been proven that he doesn't have much success at 147(although he did look good against PBF until that sweet left hook) but this is 140 we are talking about.

Hatton is definately not overrated when it comes down to 140 pounds, thats for damn sure.
    He deserves what he got.

He doesnt even bring "size" to the table,.. there will barely be a difference between the two in my opinion,.. we'll see at the weigh in,..

Well, he'll have no real significant edge in height.

Any "size" advantage he has is more about weight, because he does melt down to make 140, so his night of weight could be higher.

Overall geometrically, there may be no difference what so ever.. it doesnt matter about the pre-fight 'bloating' aspect,.. human beings aren't crabs where the shell holds it's form, but the meat shrinks on the inside :crafty:,.. if they're equally thick, wide, robust, and tall,.. they're the same size,..

He struggled mightily with Lazcano at 140 and looked like shyte against Tackie (almost unheard of for a fighter of supposed quality as Hatton), was hurt badly by a geriatric Vince Phillips, looked like crap against Urango. The only thing he's done of note was to beat Tszyu in illegal fashion when Tzsyu was clearly on his way out of the sport.

Hatton might've been KO'd by Lazcano for Kris sakes if his shoe hadn't needed tied. :dunno: WTF was that all about.

And Collazo nearly knocked him out - hardly a guy known for his punching power.

Hatton is so over-rated it's ridiculous.

All he brings to this fight is strength and determination. But his stamina isn't what it used to be, and I don't think his hunger is either.

Pacquiao will have him cut by the second round.

Thank you. Hatton's career is a fucking joke. He's never beaten one quality opponent. Anytime he stepped it up he looked like a bum.

He beat the stuffing out of Pernell Whitaker without the help of the referee.

How many fights has The Holdman Hatton not needed help to win?

The illegal wraps that broke Pea's jaw, helped Tito a bit too, as it always did.

hatton needed no assistence in dismantling the architect of double L's affection.

trinidad was unable to stop whitaker.

and by '99 whitaker had put more powder up his nose than benitez, g.w. bush and gary busey combined
